The apple program was downloaded June 10, 2008, the computer was turned odd incorrectly. It installed on June 19, other files modified.

Installed, yes. BUT it didn't have to be manualy updated back in 2008/2009/2010. It did that automatically.
People were coming up with all sort of programs to change that.

I just figured out the apple thing, he installed it, and reboot required, he said to reboot later, so when it rebooted, it finished the install.
