This is the pic where I think she was practicing shopping herself in places. There is no way IMO she is in that snow scene. She doesnt look cold enough...lol

I think she would take pics like this with her head cocked so she could rest them on Travis shoulders.

Notice the left side of the pic where the hairline is straight and smooth. Obviously cut out from somewhere else. But she does add a nice touch of individual strands of hair.

This picture has always bothered me, too - for the same reasons you mentioned. It just doesn't look like she is really outside in the elements, squinting, with shadows, etc.

Gosh, I'll bet you're so right, with your comment about Jodi photoshopping photos of herself and Travis together into [romantic] vacation spots. Otherwise, I can't really see when they did all that traveling! Maybe Jodi intended it to make it look like they were traveling so she could send the photos to the women he was dating?

IIRC the Hughes said Travis's travels and relationship with Jodi had caused his professional life to suffer. He had taken $75,000 in equity loan on his house and spent most of it traveling. He was finally getting back on track right before he was killed.

This photo looks suspect to me. If you enlarge you can see that her fingers look like they were drawn around with a brown color. Perhaps she was cut from one of her photos? Also, her right breast is oddly light compared to the rest of her coloring. It looks the same color as his chest. There are some photos that just not ring true to my eyes.

I don't see what you're talking about with the fingers, but I do see the color difference in her breast. Keep in mind she's Hispanic, no matter how hard she tries to hide it, so she's gonna have a brown tone. I think this pose would be very difficult to align in and Photoshop in. Plus she's just creepy enough to pretend to strangle him. He never looks super happy to be posed with her.

Anyone know when this pic was taken?

Couldn't she just be standing in front of a backdrop like pro photographers use? The (not sure of the proper word to use) depth seems all wrong, you can see her hair strands but it just seems wrong against the background, can't quite explain it but I tend to doubt she was that good at photoshopping.

I don't recall hearing that Dan Freeman had been one of TA's roommates, especially not during the JA time period, I'm sure I would have remembered that! As a sister... umm sure.:/

I think if the trips were fabrications she made up and manipulated via photoshop that Juan would have busted her on it.
IMO the trips were one way Travis could sleep with her without being seen around Mesa.

IIRC, the lamb testicles were on the way back from OKCity, where they went for a PPL convention.

I also watched the video posted (sorry can't remember by who) with the retired FBI profiler/ex prosecutor and I have to admit, once and for all- I absolutely do not want her to get the death penalty.

ETA The FBI profiler unequivocally states that Jodi IS a psychopath - that is so interesting to me that it has never been said in court. To this very day that baffles me.

I think its interesting that DeMarte was able to say Marissa devault is a psychopath in open court, but could not or would not say that about JA, when she is clearly one.

I'm wondering if JSS deemed it too prejudicial, like many other things, and it was kept out.

ETA nevermind. Curious in Indiana already answered why it was kept out. I thought her score for psychopathic deviancy was high, but honestly, that part of the trial is a blur to me.

I think Demarte said something about that evaluation of the MMPI didn't have enough research done on it, so she didn't feel she could rightly include it (because it was unclear if it was reliable). Then, IIRC, JW asked her to go through those scores again, and she (JW) was on the brink of calling attention to the inordinately high psychopathy score. Demarte smirked and JW quickly moved on.

I'm thinking Demarte (and JM too) might not have wanted to depart from the Borderline diagnosis on the table, because it was a "known" element from the first trial and they wouldn't be surprised by any new tactics from the defense. In other words, the PT kind of knew what they'd be up against, and they already had practice! If they had inserted a new diagnosis this time around, there would have been a lot of unknowns about how the DT would handle it. What advantage would they have gained anyway by calling Jodi a psychopath?

They ate there the Wednesday of the convention week The convention was March 13-15. They left the Monday before (March 10) and toured the Roswell NM Museum and Carlsbad Caverns. Then they saw the largest cross in the Western Hemisphere in Groom, Texas. Then they arrived in OKC where they went to the Mormon Temple and the OKC Memorial. They ate at Cattlemens and attended convention. On the way back they went to the Canyon de Chelly National Monument in AZ

I totally agree. I have never done anything with pictures like this. I just enlarged this picture to 400% and it is as clear as the lips on her face that she did something to this photo. You can see rings all around her mouth. What the heck? She wasn't even good at it. I am going to have to look at the other pictures.

LinasK What the fingers look like to me is they were cut from the original background which was very dark. I think the original dark background would have caused the fingers to have a darker shadow color. It is all wrong for the other shadowing in this photo. Yes, she is part Mexican but remember she was the queen of sunscreen to keep herself from appearing to be Mexican. Remember she was miffed when Juan pronounced her name with the accent?

Eezy peezy photoshop, as are all I've seen of Jodi and Travis together on "trips". Isn't that photo of Niagara Falls backwards? Those buildings are on the other side of the river? On the American side, the verges to the river are a big park.... The town of Niagara Falls is trafficky and kitschy, but there are endless parking lots and park space between town and the actual falls. I've been there fairly recently, and that's what I recall. The Canadian side has the buildings near the falls: that would be to the right of the picture.
