No #jodiarias court today. Per court record, defense will bring back Drs. Geffner and Miccio-Fonseca plus computer guys "Smith" and Dworkin.

Noooooooooo! :sigh:

Jodi-Carlsbad Caverns

I prefer this pic to her other caverns pic a year later

Is it this one? There are teacups in the background.

Yes, those look like the Teacup ride at Disneyland. She looks positively evil in this picture like she's scored him, and he just looks resigned. He's never happy and smiling in photos with her like he was with Deanna.

The Alexander family has Sherry to blame for their beloved brother being dragged down Nurmis slime highway. As they will have her to blame if JA is not given the DP.
I will never believe otherwise no matter WHO tries to convince me of Sherrys brilliance...........I really regret that I can have no part of getting her removed from "judging"....

It's not JSSs' fault. As per JA, the state would not settle for a plea deal, so, her DT had no choice but to bring up all of TAs "secrets".

TH asks JA about the 3rd gas can in the post-verdict interview.

She says she did return and got "$13 and change back". Then she says she has never driven down that highway in the hot desert at night, hence the reason for the extra gas?

What other highways would take her to Mesa from southern California?

JA might have meant to convey that she hadn't driven on I-15 at night, so she must need gas cans. [Wasn't this thought attached to her original lie that she didn't go to Mesa?] There is a lot of desert out there for sure. But let's see how likely it is she wouldn't be able to get gas............ How about? Las Vegas! St. George! Cedar City! The Junction with I-70. Right, Jodi, gas is just so hard to find when you're on a busy interstate.

Of course, if she meant to convey that she'd never driven from SoCal to Mesa in the dark, ummm, that's a non-starter. To get from Mesa heading northwest towards Las Vegas or St. George, well, on an Escort, you'd probably want your gas gauge to go no lower than 1/2 full.

Thank-you!:clap::clap: First of all, it's moot because Jodi IS going to get the Death Penalty, I'm sure of it. I have that much confidence in Juan. But even if she doesn't I can guarantee the Alexander family won't be blaming Judge Stephens. She is doing a good job, even if some people are pessimists and don't think so. Some people here will probably try to blame her for President's Day too...

There are no shortage of gas stations in Arizona. It was all a carefully crafted lie so that she didn't have to buy gas in Arizona and have a paper trail. Her original excuse was that she was never in the state, hence only gas receipts in California, Utah, and other states.

One 5 gallon can of gas would get her 100-150 miles easily. And she has THREE?!

What I never understood is how she lifted those gas cans full of gas, especially since to get gas from a can into the car's fuel tank, she'd have to lift and tip it as well. The reason she could pull this off is testimony to the fact that she'd have no trouble physically handling Travis during the murder.

4 quarts=1 gallon 1 quart weighs approx. 2 lbs. 1 gas can full weighs approx. 40 lbs.+the weight of the can.

^^^^ If you look at this picture you can even see how she dominates Travis. Poor Travis probably didn't realize precisely what she was up to but there's just so much going on with her even in this picture. Her face is in front of his, almost squeezing his face with hers as if to say she's controlling him until the day he dies. You can view the confidence she has here. This is not a fragile woman who is being abused. She's the one manipulating and controlling his every move. She's so evil. Her eyes look so black and lifeless too.

She was so totally shocked when the verdict came back guilty, murder 1. She honestly believed that jury would NOT convict her! Her statement that they, the jurors, betrayed HER reveals much. If you aren't on Team JA, then you're a hater, deserving only de-edifying and destruction. It occurs to me she was just as shocked to discover Travis loathed her, and she flipped a switch from lover to killer. She destroys what she cannot control, period.

I see nothing here except a couple and her showing her need to make sure people knew they were an item. I think he looks like, " Okay.. Whatever" But I don't see anything here that predicts the horror to come.
I agree she was manipulative.. But I don't see anything more than a pic of a couple.

You guys are "seeing" a lot of things in these photos that I'm just not seeing.

She planned and executed a murder of a man double Her strength and stature with precision l. She dragged his lifeless 220lb+ body back to the shower. I never once second guessed get ability to lift a measly 40 lbs

That's without even addressing the times she had already driven there in the dead of night to check up on him because he hadn't answered her calls...

BBM - Same, I never questioned it because I had never had a problem doing it myself and although I walked a lot(before I bought my first car at 22/23) and took a bit of karate for self-defense, I was more of a couch potato... bookkeeper, would rather sit and read a book than go dancing, and the most "exercise" I would normally get was swimming in the lake to cool off in the summer or hiking with friends off the beaten path to go goldpanning for a weekend or so a couple times a year.

They have handles and are meant to be carried. She had no trouble at all.

Listening now to Nurmi's direct of Jodi. She gets to tell every single time Travis ever hurt her feelings...all 21 months worth of every slight she could remember.

He didn't hold my hand...
He talked to another girl in front of me...
He introduced me as a friend, not his girlfriend...
After the executive directors banquet, drunk Clancy hanging on Travis and he was loving it

She probably filled the gas cans as they sat in the trunk, then much easier to lift them out than straight up off the ground. I also agree with mydirtysecret, if she could move his body she could lift a gas can
