I think Juan will strike her in the end. She's a little too eager and she has a connection to Jodi.

I wouldn't think any side would want her due to the risk. That eagerness signals an agenda and it's hard to predict what it is.

I wish the reporters there would concentrate more on what the parties are SAYING instead of what they're doing. I don't care if Nurmi is talking fast, I want to know what he's saying. And WAT needs to stop wasting time and stop tweeting about clothes.

I appreciated his little bits of humor during the last trial, but that was when we could see what was going on and his contributions weren't so critical. This is a whole different ballgame now, and I guess part of me resents that he gets to see & hear what's happening but only 'feeds' us occasional tidbits, along with a lot of joking around.

Jurors voicing opinions of psychologists reminds me of Dr. Richard Samuels. Defense will be wanting a do over but it is too late to retest with a new psychologist. PTSD and dissociative amnesia now, caused by events (totally within her own control) in 2008? If those conditions were ever credibly diagnosed, they don't pass the sneer test now. The testimony was a disaster last year. The testing procedures could be corrected; it's simply too late. Their one advantageous factor was that Samuels administered them close in time to the crime. As for myself, I am unmoved by any stress Arias may have caused herself & I don't particularly care whether it affected her recall of what she did since she would have lied about those memories, anyway.

None the less, I expect the defense and Arias to produce some expert to show how she was affected by the June 4 murder and how that caused her to behave in deception & manipulation. If you run over somebody and then hide your car, so what?! It does not mitigate your offense.​

But wasn't it Dr. Samuels that did his tests on her when she was still swearing to the Ninja story? IIRC, he admitted he should have redone his tests once she changed her story so his timing wasn't so advantageous after all. Actually with all of her lying, none of their work meant much to anyone - and none of them cared either. They supplied what they were paid for and never looked back...

I think several of them, except for WAT, have been doing pretty well. It's got to be hard to describe everything in tweets, but hopefully some of them will appear either online or on TV to expand on details after trial each day. Please don't make me watch the other two on HLN though!

Five more jurors (4 women and 1 man) were just told to return at 10 am on Oct. 16. One other woman was excused after saying she could never impose death, no matter what the crime.

The jury is not finalized today. There's one more round after this. It'll probably be finalized on the 16th or before behind the scenes.

But that was my point. The proximity in time was a favorable factor. He failed to administer the ancillary deception tests that were (& always are) available. Nor did he re-test back in the day when she admitted the "ninja" story was false but the crime was still within a reasonable closeness to his examination.

Sounds to me like Monica feels that way too. So, anyone can butcher a person and as long as they aren't crazy enough to eat them then they don't deserve the harshest penalty?

I think she has it backwards. The Dahmers of the world are the real crazies and they should be locked away. For JA, this crime was about rage and jealousy and was up close and personal. AND JA WILL BE A REPEAT OFFENDER. IS ANYONE LISTENING?

Maybe I am wrong. But JA deserves the harshest penalty,right along with Dahmer.

Or wait, maybe no one should get the DP until they have been given parole so they can go out and kill some more? if that is the case, get ready. She will do it.

2. I have searched and can't find something... The WATrial lady goes out to lunch every day and had a string of pics' just of her lunches. I cannot find the site anymore - could someone please inform me / PMessage me? tyia. What I found so odd was she always had a greasy cheeseburger and fries, I think, and if it were me I'd pick lobster or crab claws every time.
