This isn't a life and death game for Arias anymore - it's to take as many people down with her as she can. She doesn't care the expense, the anguish, or the ruined reputations. Spite is why she killed, and spite will drive her until her dying day. IMO.

Court has resumed in Arias's penalty phase retrial. Nurmi just asked that openings be pushed back one day to Oct. 21 because defense attorney Willmott will be traveling over the previous weekend to interview a witness. Martinez objects.

The judge did not change the date of opening statements. She's asked the attorneys to try to schedule interviews early next week. They are checking with the witness's availability.

I suggest they keep about 20 alternate jurors on stand-by.

Once the games begin, those jurors are going to be dropping like flies if Nurmi and his skinny client have anything to do with it.
