About that NZ witness. If he is who has been revealed elsewhere, oh please oh please bring him over, in and on the stand.

Having him as a mitigation witness would seal her fate. One example of what he has allegedly said is that Sky and Chris Hughes actually killed Travis, not the inmate.

Lol. I can see her face as the room bursts out laughing at this fellow's testibaloney.

How are you guys finding out about the NZ witness? On the Internet somewhere? He sounds like a flake and if so, I hope he testifies. I am still miffed I can't watch it. Okay. I will get over it. Sorry.

Curious in Indiana.......my heart goes out to you. I am all too familiar with what you're going through. Rest, rest, rest, insist on antibiotics beyond what you're being told is necessary, do your own research, and do NOT take steroids!!

For others, and for the record, RMSF is more deadly than Lyme disease. That's saying a lot. have personally known 7 people who have died from Lyme disease, and am permanently disabled myself from brain damage caused by the disease.

Adding- am posting more on thus in sidebar.

Left untreated or if undertreated, tick borne diseases are SERIOUS and devastating.

Hope I am very sorry you had Lyme disease. I was always so afraid of it after reading about it. Didn't even know this stuff existed. Ticks are such tiny little creatures but so deadly. I have a friend who says she gets them on her all the time and never thought much about it. I don't like yard work. So the ONE time I decide to help my DH put some mulch down, I get bitten. See, I learned. Won't do yard work anymore. :)

I am sorry you suffered after affects. Will be praying for you.

Will go to sidebar. Thanks.

Yeah, like I said, I can't post the twitterers' sn but he responded to a tweet about the lawyers arguing over a NZ witness by saying he knows who this is and posted screen shots, how he came to know if him, etc. I know this is rumor so don't put too much stock in it. But if this is the guy, bring it on, I say. You can't avoid the interview forever. And, again, I would not be surprised if this is someone Jodi wanted to call during her short stint as defense attorney and one of the ones she didn't want to have interviewed. Now they're still dealing with it. If Juan can't interview the guy he can and will have the guy precluded.

It's all fun and games when you're posting lies in a chat room. It's not so funny when you're on the phone with an attorney being grilled over things that aren't true.

@TrialDiariesJ: #jodiarias jury selection resumes this morning! I will bring you all the updates!

I'll do my best to only post relevant tweets today. No more nonsense about clothes and food, unless it's somewhat interesting.

argh-- lost my post!

Curious, I had Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever mixed up with Lyme Disease (which a friend had, and has not recovered completely in the 15 years I have know her). Please don't think I was at all skeptical of the seriousness, although I did learn something new from you. I just read that RMSF has a 10% death rate in all cases, (http://www.nytimes.com/health/guides/disease/lyme-disease/diseases-with-similar-symptoms.html ) , but Lyme Disease is rarely fatal. They are actually two different things, though both are related to tick bites.

So no matter the percentage rate, RMSF is serious!! Do follow whatever instructions you have been given and take it easy! I still hope you recover quicker than expected, too. Take care, please.

Edited to add: And then I read Hope's post about friends who died from Lyme Disease. I am sorry you have been through that with your friends and your own health, Hope. Scary thoughts about this, now.

Thanks MeeBee. When we could watch, I enjoyed all their tweets for the humor. This is way too serious now. But for those tweeting, they are likely so bored being there. JSKS ruined it for us. We should've been able to watch.

Wow. This takes the internet fandom to unprecedented levels. Wilmott and Nurmi must be so ready to be finished with this trial...

Yes and sometimes I do appreciate the humor, I do. But sometimes the tweeters get bored or busy or don't think something is relevant and we get silence and don't know what's going on. We kind of rely on them right now so they gotta get it together.

Spellbound, thank you. I don't want anyone to feel I was on the attack about the posts. I just think we do not take things seriously sometimes. Last week, my husband had a heart cath to find out about a blockage. Our family MD paid a visit and told the nurses to give him four medications. I told them he didn't need them as he never takes an aspirin and is sensitive to meds anyway. Well, they gave them to him. In a few minutes he passed out, had a seizure and his heart rate dropped to 23. Our cardiologist was furious! Said he didn't need those meds! I was beside myself!! My DH is my best friend! So I learned a lot that day, then the very next day found out I had RMSF. So I guess all I am saying is if you feel sick, get checked out and when you know something in your gut, do NOT listen to any MD tell you differently.

Btw, my DH is home and fine. I am a witness of what God can do and will do if you only believe.

Yah, I remember reading that Lyme is rarely fatal, way back when, and feeling reassured. It's not true.

Lyme caught early and treated adequately (a rarity, sorry to say), is relatively a not so bad disease. Untreated Lyme is OFTEN incapacitating/disabling, and far too frequently, fatal, in part because the ticks doing the biting often have multiple diseases, not just Lyme.

--- and how often is Lyme or any other tick borne disease even considered at an office visit? not enough, apparently.

Curious, what a terrible week that was for you and DH! So glad you are both doing better. Prayers and hopes that you both continue to improve.

Back to the on-topic posts now (Sidebar was definitely a good choice for further discussions -thanks)

From KPHO:

Potential Arias Juror Disobeys Judge, Walks Out of Courthouse

Dozens of potential jurors were back in Superior Court on Monday as jury selection continued in the Jodi Arias sentencing retrial.

One potential juror disregarded the judge's order not to do any research on the case or watch any media reports.

The juror said he watched a movie about Arias over the weekend. He then walked out of the courthouse and never came back.

From AZ Central:

Arias Jury Selection: Do you believe in Death Penalty?

Do you believe in the death penalty?

Do you understand that Arias has already been found guilty of premeditated murder and that a previous jury had determined that her victim suffered?

Could you set aside what you know about the first trial to make a fair assessment as to whether Arias should be sentenced to death or life in prison?

From AZ Central:

Arias jury selection: Do you believe in death penalty?

Prosecutor Juan Martinez cautioned them that Arias is a convicted killer and that they would not be reconsidering her guilt or innocence.

Defense attorney Kirk Nurmi told them that they are supposed to follow their consciences and deliver their own verdicts.

"There are no wrong answers," Nurmi told them.

I like that no wrong answer. Either way the killer is going down. The sooner the better.

Thanks dog.gone.cute. I gleaned more information within 5 minutes of reading the articles you posted, than I did reading tweets yesterday throughout the morning and afternoon.

Hopefully things will be different today, but I'm not holding my breath.

Now where I live one of the first things they ask you is if you have been bitten by a tick recently. I am always asked that! I also know enough to volunteer that info if I've been bitten.
