Problem is females tend to stick together...

So true. Females can be Jodi's worst nightmare. How many may of had a father, son, brother or a boyfriend that had a woman scorned that won't go away. Also, if you can't tell, we tend to be very judgmental about old girlfriends that won't go away.

You guys do realize that NG and the rest of the HLN gang are playing the public for ratings? They don't necessarily believe anything they spew, they must have differing opinions or there would be no show. They are also known to frequently state mis-truths, we saw it constantly last time through this gong show.

So don't take HLN too seriously, its more National Enquirer/TMZ than reality...
Unfortunately, that's all we have this time around. We are at their mercy. :( I so wish Katiecoolady was back in the courtroom. Bummer, but understood.

I am surprised the family is being allowed to show grief.

Not being disrespectful...just thinking back about how the defense could object if they felt the family's demeanor was prejudicial to their client. It was a defense complaint that got them banned from wearing their justice for TA support pins, I believe, because they were allowed to wear them for awhile then all of a sudden one day the judge said NO.

How can they not show grief? Even Beth K., who has seen these pictures, can't erase it from her mind. It's horrible! And, about them pins, the murderers family has on Domestic Violence ribbons. How is that fair? We know Travis is dead and his family can't grieve him or wear ribbons in support, yet the lying murderers family is allowed to wear domestic violence ribbons when she was NEVER abused!? Travis and his family are the victims. Not directed at you...JMO.

KCL was an absolute gift last trial when all I was hearing in the media was how the jury was buying it, they didn't think she'd be convicted, etc. then I came here and it was a much needed dose of reality. I miss her but I 110% understand why she needed a break.

Thanks to everyone who posted tweets today. I just got done catching up! I'm more of a lurker but I was here with you all last time, and it's good to have the "fam" back together.

Since JA has already been tried and convicted for the murder of Travis Alexander, and the charge of especially cruel was added to that verdict, then I see no reason whatsoever as to why his family can not show emotion this time around. There is no need to worry about the jury being prejudiced against JA as far as her being the murderer. That part is a done deal. The Alexander family showed great restraint during the last trial and I see no reason to believe that they will not do the same this time around, unlike the Arias clan.

MOO

ETA: A huge thanks to all that posted the tweets that followed the day in court!!

I wonder if she will be wearing any little barrettes in her hair?

I'm sure her wardrobe dept. will be doing everything they can think of to make her look as young and frail as possible. No doubt she's been under strict orders to lay off the carbs and stay out of the sun. And of course she'll have her chair cranked down as low as possible.

By the way, I have a cat named Basil!

I agree. I was responding to a post about them possibly not telling us the truth due to ratings. Sorry, it was a generic answer. No harm intended. I appreciate all their tweets/coverage.

I guess that's why the women who follow this case tend to support Jodi.

(Or are you kidding...?)

Pre Paid Legal will be discussed and how Travis fit into the company #jodiarias #3TVArias

That can backfire on him. Travis was working and making good money and he had a lifestyle that Jodi was part of for a while and when Travis wanted her , she didn't want to give any of it up. She'd rather see him dead. Hmmm when they get to the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 shots, those ladies will hate her.

Well, again, it's hard to know exactly. She's there, we are not.

That Monica Lindstrom is "shocked" says a lot to me. I wouldn't say she's pro DT or anything, but she seems a little more sympathetic to them. She is also an AZ defense attorney. Most of us were surprised she even made it to round three. Regardless of the link to Jodi, usually anyone with any kind of link at all to anyone involved in a trial is stricken pretty quickly, good friends or mere acquaintance. It's unusual that she is still there. I get what you're saying though. Maybe AZ has a point that there was something about this juror that the judge and the prosecution could see wasn't much to worry about.
My dad is a baliff and my brother was shot. These are things I had to mention when I had jury duty just to put them on the table and not be called out on them later. If this juror's sil is the connection, that doesn't really make a connection. My sister in laws know many know many people i don't. We don't even live in the same town. Herd might not either. IMO this isn't a problem.

As for appearing eager to serve, I wonder if she is employed. There could be a reason she seemed eager other than to benefit CMJA...a steady bit of cash and a chance to live outside a normal routine. All JMO.

My dad says you see all kinds during jury duty!

For me it's not like I have anything else to do. School isn't in session yet, I only work Thurs-Sat, I can only clean so much before I go nuts. It's this or I watch ESPN or NFL NEtwork all day. Zero. Life.

Judge Stephens says trial will last until Dec 18th #jodiarias #3TVArias

i was right, just about xmas lol

All I want for Christmas is for this trial to be over WITH a reasonable verdict. I wonder if there are Christmas Carol Idol competitions at Perryville. Nothing to stop Jodi from crooning to herself in her cell... in solitary. Except maybe the threats her sorority sisters scream at her.

Lol.. Alpha Delta Pi? (Awaiting Death Penalty) Lambda Nu Pi? (Life No Parole)

(No "w" in Greek.)

No prior crim history, he age at crime, remorse, phy abuse from family and Travis, PTSD are some of them #jodiarias #3TVArias

She was 27! The PTSD is BS! What remorse?! What abuse?! So WHAT if she has no prior criminal history? She's not on trial for drunk and disorderly, failure to pay library fines, driving on a suspended license, or even destruction of property (tire slashing, f. ex.). This is first degree premeditated murder, with cruelty, and DP eligibility. "NPCH" is as ludicrous as everything else she's claiming.

Personally, I am kind of liking this trial by tweet. I don't have to look, see or hear from her, JW and Nurmi. Today, we weren't subjected to those nasty pics of her whoo ha. Life is good at WS. ;-)

That's her! She bugs me. I admire the passion but please, take it down a notch.

Off to watch some baseball before I crash for the night....go Royals! See you all back here tomorrow. G'night!
Go Giants! We're winning 7-1.
