Whatever, Nurmi. That's their whole case. That's their "mitigator": Travis was a horrible person so even though it was against the law, come on, jurors, Travis deserved it.

It is despicable that this kind of defense is allowed. Slandering a man who cannot defend himself. jodi is being allowed to murder him again and again. I can't imagine what this is doing to his poor family. The agony must be terrible.

Iirc, JA loved being passive aggressive... she would just go on and on with whatever she wanted to talk about, no matter what TA was talking about. ie TA being all upset over JA scamming him etc and she basically just kept referring to the letter she'd written and supposedly sent to him which he hadn't received. So yea, a "conversation" like that could last as long as one of them keeps replying... not exactly what I would classify as a rant.

It's super common in personality disordered folks. Here's more if anyone's interested:

For the person with the Personality Disorder, the Non’s inevitable failure to solve all the problems and fill all the voids can create feelings of disappointment, disillusionment and even resentment . Filled with anger towards those who have disappointed them, yet consumed by fear that they will be abandoned by them , the Personality Disordered person may develop a pattern of Passive-Aggressive behavior towards the Non.
