I think I understand the DT's (read CMJA's) argument.

Travis was a pedophile and an abuser who loathed that part of himself so much he wanted to die. He pushed CMJA until she broke and gave him what he thought he deserved.

CMJA was horrified because she was big hearted and kind enough to forgive him for what he was, because he had a good side too.

If she can forgive him, so should you the jury forgive her for killing him, because the murder represents her bad and mentally disturbed side which Travis made worse, not who she really is.

I like these sex questions from the jury. They are establishing that in his other sexual experiences with Deanna, they weren't kinky, involving KY, anal etc.

Small rant: just received a twitter message that my photo with Juan Martinez is being used, with me cropped out of it on two facebook pages Love for JUAN and one by Mikal Ann Simmons aka "Gypsywoman" as we referred to her in the trial. She has blocked me from both of those pages after I commented on it because apparently she's claiming he posed for it with her or some such nonsense. Katie W and I met her on the first day of trial and I"ll just be nice and say Katie had/has far greater tolerance with her than I do/did. Ok, rant over. That kind of stuff....blech.

I can see that there will be one juror who will worry us. She is the older woman who sits in the front and takes a lot of notes. She nods at worrying times. And I think her questions will be revealing (this is to jump off LinTx's post about Jen's opinion on the juror).

I'm waiting for the questions. Even then, I'm not worried about this jury.

Yes, but if I were the DT, I would avoid mentions of gutting, killing, murder, slashing, slicing, butchering, torturing, shooting, bloody crime scene, especially cruel, heinous, hateful, jealous, cleanup, cover-up, justice, etc.
