I think he means to point out to the jury that Matt M was her ex, and still liked her a lot, so if he says he 'saw bruises', take it with a huge grain of salt.

Yes, and Matt M. did in fact see bruises, wouldn't he be there as a witness for the DT?

I think we have a mental health professional on the jury panel. Wonder what his questions for DeMarte will be in comparison to the almost rude ones given to the Geffmeister.

On Q7 I read that this juror believes that there was emotional abuse. In fact Beth has the question ending with "considering the emotional abuse".

Juan also pointed out that Matt said he would lie for Jodi. I totally forgot about that.

See discussion above.... :)

How DOES Matt M feel about Jodi now? What did Juan mean about that?

Hmm, that struck me as odd also. Wonder why that was thrown in there?

Agreed; furthermore, I believe the questions were usually worded something along the lines of "In your expert/professional opinion..."

So the DT did not rest their case. Wonder what they have on tap for tomorrow? Are there more affidavits floating around, ready to be read? Is someone going to read more from Matt McCartney and his claims of seeing 'bruises' on his girl?

I posted the questions/answers in the Media/Timeline thread (instead of the "interrogation" Transcripts thread). Please note I only came up with 30 questions and a few questions I didn't see any Geffner answers. If anyone can help out and find something I may have missed, let me know and I'll try to edit (or ask a mod if I'm timed out with being able to edit changes). Thanks

That's a lot easier to read than the one I posted. I added a link to it from the end of my long Twitter post.

Is there a photo of CMJA holding a pen/pencil while writing? I'm left handed and I only hold the pen/pencil with my thumb and first two fingers. The ring and pinky finger are bent down and touching the pad under the bottom of my thumb (this is so hard to explain! lol), or just bent (like her finger) lying on the page I'm writing on.

Obviously it would be extremely painful if it were broken. Just wondering how she usually holds her writing instruments.

I'm left-handed also. I've never held my pen or pencil correctly, and I write sort of upside down like some other left-handed people. My thumb, index finger, and middle finger are holding the pen. My middle finger is pressing down really hard on my ring finger. It would be difficult to write normally if you had a broken ring finger. As someone said earlier, Jodi will probably start writing with her right hand, trying to outsmart everybody. But she said she was ambidextrous in the last trial.

Ramble on, McDuff...errr...MeeBee. lol I agree with you, Geff 'confirming' that Travis was molested or a pedo or any other thing JA or MMc-Wit#1 came up with is ridiculous, he confirmed they said it, not that it was actually true. I have faith based on many of the questions that the jury also realizes that.

It was the lack of questions about pedophilia that was reassuring. Few. And those were clearly skeptical. Given how relentlessly the DT has peddled that lie, the juror's lack of interest indicates FAIL.

That should worry them very very much.

I believe JA may have doctored her journals before or soon after the killing, but do the words "the law of attraction" even appear in them? Or did the concept arise during the 40 hrs. ALV interviewed JA?

I think because we might have more coming from Matt M in affidavit form, maybe tomorrow?

1:14:03 TrialDiariesJ Do records show other significant things that happened she didn't journal on?
Geff- It's not a blow by blow its a summary #Jodiarias

What kind of answer is this? Is the juror asking if there were other incidents in his records that the DT did not bring up, nor did she journal about?

And he answers in such a way as to say they "summarized" the incidents (indicating there are more?)

Is that how this reads to anyone else?

I guess we'll need to see the actual full questions and answers to figure some of this out.

MOO

JA seems to be using her left hand during her frenetic, nonstop scribbling in court.

Yeah, but even if you're ambidextrous your penmanship changes when you switch hands, so there would be a change in her journal

Or "to a layperson..."

Another......questioned why she sounded strong in journal about leaving in April but acted other than strong....:(

That sounds to me like a description of someone who's obsessed, or addicted, or prone to self-delusion - so not necessarily a pro-defense question?

So, we know JM now knows the weak points (and will be plenty prepared for rebuttal), but so does the DT - how might they try to counter that? They haven't rested yet.
