She'd have to listen to such advice. I'd bet money she does what she wants, how and when she wants, to the best of her ability while incarcerated.

If I were on this jury this is what would glare at me. It is easy to see the DT as slime and I sincerely believe they are...but...JA could have, at any time, directed the DT to stop the slime and just DEFEND HER. She is the boss of her defense and I hope the jury considers the mechanics of this trial as they consider her punishment. Show remorse? She'd rather die...so let her...please!!!

I'd like to discuss why geffner wouldn't answer JM when direct questioning on whether he believed dv physical abuse occurred. He hesitated and then said he has to define believe.. This to me SPEAKS volumes and must to the jury as well. When being asked flat out if he believes Travis broke her finger choked her ect he couldn't and wouldn't answer.

I find myself reminding myself that there were some great juror questions during the guilt phase as well, and Zervakos hung that jury.

As many questions as were asked, we still don't know how many holdouts submitted zero queries to Dr. Copyright.

That sounds to me like a description of someone who's obsessed, or addicted, or prone to self-delusion - so not necessarily a pro-defense question?

I took is that she wrote in her own journals that she was so happy to be back in Yreka and that her and Travis' "split" was a good thing for them both. yada yada

If she was so glad and happy to be away from Mesa, why did she go back?

She was never abused physically or emotionally, IMO. If she was abused by Travis, he wouldn't of sent her packing in the UHaul. Heck he wanted to her go so bad, he probably told her to keep the BMW.

I really wonder about him too and how much he really knows. He was the first one she called after turning her phone back on. And she also stayed with him on her way to Mesa to kill Travis. Who stole the gunfor her while she was out with her sister? And how did she retrieve it from them? Jodi says she had an alibi for the theft and no one had really questioned it, that I remember. He seemed overly supportive of her, willing to lie, if she needed someone to vouch for something she'd said, she'd call on Matt, with the seeming knowledge that he'd go along with whatever she said...

BIt I'm just spitballing.

Not A BK subscriber, so the “IMO” re: the jury questions is based solely on the Twitter-verse. It appears to me (my opinion, not my belief ), this jury is looking for the truth and having a difficult time finding it.

This IS my opinion: Even in cross, JM planted plenty of seeds showing that JA lies. The jury questions seem to reflect skepticism. Can’t wait to see where JM takes this in rebuttal.

Seems this hack had a list to items to disclose to jury. None was evidence, hope someone reminds the jury.

I liked the question about whether the killer is right or left handed. I think a juror has deduced that the broken finger incident is a lie, based on the unchanged writing patterns in her journals before and after said incident. We all know that finger was damaged on June 4, 2008 when she killed Travis.

Oh wow, I thought that was a good one for the state the way Jen wrote it. That's disappointing.

I thought that question was very pro-prosecution even with the statement "I understand the cycle of abuse....." I took this to mean: "Don't go blahblahblah about the cycle of abuse, I know about it already and understand what people mean when they talk about cycle of abuse. I want you to stay on the facts of my question. What I really want to know is.... [the rest of the question?]."

Don't know, but Beth said JM wanted to show the message from MM where he said he would lie for JA but it wasn't allowed.

I am willing to bet Jodi wants to take the stand bad. She wants this jury to ask HER questions.

This would be her last shot at ever seeing: butterflies, beaches, mountains, snow, rivers, lakes, Starbucks ...

Some may lie for JA, but none will lie for JA like JA.

I took Juan's remarks about Matt McCartney and the fact that he would lie for Jodi as pretty straight forward- he has evidence (that he can prove) that Matt McCartney would and did in fact lie for her. More importantly, when he asked Geff if he knows how he feels about her now- as a two prong attack- since Geff doesn't know, I take that to mean that 1. Matt is no longer in the defense teams pocket and 2. He no longer supports the defendant- nor is he willing to lie for her anymore. I'm pretty certain with Juans threats to him previously (probably perjury and possibly accessory charges) and with the passing of time- Matt no longer supports her or has good feelings towards her. That is my opinion, anyway.

And, ironically, Matt was the first one to lie for her, and now we have Marc for this trial and coincidentally their initials are MM.

I don't know much. I know he too has credibility problems. As I said, Jodi would sort of fall back on Matt when she needed someone to corroborate a claim. She told her lawyers that Matt could verify the abuse and verify the pedophila. When he was initially asked those things he said he had no idea what they were talking about ("you f***** up.") We don't know how much of Jodi's little magazine codes got out before they were caught or what she was able to tell him after. But he did change his story, prompting Juan to let him know he'd get him for perjury if he's lying. He also appears to the one who helped her write the pedo letters. If she said jump, he said how high?
