Retrial for Sentencing of Jodi Arias - Day 4

I'm re-positing from thread #3. I posted just as the thread closed:

I've been lurking and reading and reading and reading.

Jodi's art: It reminds me of Hitler's art. You look at a sketch of a street scene and it looks "nice," but "feel" something is off about it. It lacks perspective. It's flat and eerie. It's the same as Jodi's art. It is lifeless, with no spark. It's flat and somewhat distorted, especially in the eyes. The eyes are all staring and lifeless. There's one (which I won't post here), where the nose, instead of pointing in the direction of the entire face, faces forward. She has naïve talent, but not enough training or ability.

The death penalty: I'm equivocal about that. I do agree that life would be the most likely outcome here. I have to believe that JSS will sentence her to LWOP based on the extreme cruelty and Jodi's behavior during the trial as well as all the delay, delay, delay, and other nonsense.

The gunshot wound: Pure typo here! The location of the gun shot and where the bullet ended roughly gives Dr. Horne the trajectory which includes going through a bit of the frontal lobe, etc., etc., etc. There was no sign of hemorrhaging along any of the path, IMHO meaning that there was no bleeding from the wound. There is no clear bullet path simply because the brain was in a fairly advanced state of decomposition where the bullet path would be obscured.

Just putting out MHO and waiting to see what happens tomorrow.

I, too, believe JSS will give LWOP if the jury doesn't deliver. JA's antics may not be known to the jury, but they sure are known to the judge.

Part of JA's preplanning must have involved post-murder questioning by LE. Apparently, invoking her right to remain silent was never considered. Rather surprised she didn't even fake horror at the pics though. Her reading of Flores may have told her he wouldn't buy it. Even more surprised she went with "ninjas" the next day rather than lawyering up, as I thought she was smarter than that.

She thinks that she is smarter then anyone else...and by her own words she is so smart "That NO JURY will Convict me".

She just can't help herself, she is too damn smart for school LOL.

Today they have heard gas cans, Darryl, mileage, denials, lies, bloody palm prints, JA admitting to being in the home, box head videos, sweat pants, naked "all of you Jodi", ninjas, mafia . . . what a whirlwind day for these jurors! They need a break!

I haven’t heard back from you. I hope you’re not still upset that I didn’t come to see you, I just didn’t have enough time off. It’s ok, sweetie, you’re going to be here in less than two weeks – we’re going to see the sights, check things off “The List,” and all kinds of fun things. Oregon is BEAUTIFUL this time of the year. Yaaay!..... be happy!
Anyway I wanted to let you know that I’m thinking about pushing my visit up to next week, but it depends on my budget, so I’m not for sure yet. I know you’ll be in Cancun, but I’ll probably crash at your house in your cozy bed anyway… eat some of your oatmeal and frozen dinners you know, the usual – jk. I know you said the door is always open, but I wanted to give you a heads up. If for any reason that won’t work, let me know and I’ll make arrangements. Your house has always been my second home, although it’s a bit more lonely without Naps around.
You’re probably in California right now, but wherever you are, get a hold of me, at least before you get to Mexico.
