It depends whether she gets DP or not. But yes some prisoners at perryville have internet access. And if maximum, most have TVs in their cell

Ya buddy. She is like a fictional character from OITNB!

There's a wicked woman in that prison, she got life, hope Jodi tries to cross her. You can see her interview on Youtube, her name is Angela Simpson. Such a cold, scary person!

Didn't they just have 3 days to think about this?

Thank you LambChop! I am reading and catching up and I totally agree!!!!

Perryville isn't a bed of roses, but for somebody like CMJA she will excel at prison life and will likely lead a pretty decent life

Appeals court lifts cone of silence on Jodi Arias trial
http://www.azcentral.com/story/laur...ls-ruling-on-arias-secret-testimony/18436811/

... Arias' attorney, Kirk Nurmi, countered that it's a matter of fairness to Arias and said that Stephens agreed months ago to allow secret testimony. ...

..."Closing the courtroom is a very drastic thing," Judge Randall Howe said.

Apparently, Judge Howe hasn't spent much time in Judge Stephens' court.

The defense can just use LE like the rest of us if they feel threatened by a valid threat. Let them work with the police to have charges filed.

They are no different than any of the rest of us and they should not get special privileges or illegal rulings.

JMO of course.

Hatfield, you reminded me of when ALV was on the stand and kept trying to tell the jury? that she ended up in the ER with chest pain due to death threats or something like this? Does anyone remember?

You beat me to it. LOL
I can understand them wanting to save her life, after all she is there kid, but they are either truly in denial or trying to bamboozle everyone with lies.

So, Bill and Sandy love their murderer daughter, huh? Let's see, he beat her with a belt and choked her unconscious; she beat her with a wooden spoon and didn't "support" her as she was growing up.

OK Bill and Sandy, here's some food for thought: Beating and choking is never an expression of love.

Love, or abuse--which one is it? Because you can't have it both ways.

If you are good..

I honestly imagine she'll stay out of relative trouble once there if she gets LWP/LWOP she's a manipulator to the highest degree and will get plenty of minions amassed there to do her bidding.

Exactly. That's why I - personally, IMO - want her on Death Row. Even if she never gets the needle - which she won't - that's OK. But I don't want her to have the opportunity to manipulate ONE person, or to adapt AT ALL. Which - as a psychopath (which IMO she is) - she will. They adapt to anything, and will make themselves the centre of everything.

The are either the prey or the Hunter in prison. We know which one CMJA is.

Noooooo MeeBee!! I liked you SO much! PLEASE don't label me like that! :-(

I'm so sorry, I was just joking. I don't even know you, I wouldn't say anything like that for real. I just liked your picture.

I remember. I think the chest pain turned out to be anxiety. Maybe she will take a xanax before she testifies this time if she is testifying. Now that would be an interesting testimony

Ps-not trying to make light of anxiety or panic attacks...I get them bad with chest pain and have to take the occasional med to get me through it.

No, if there is a hung jury this time, there will be no retrial. JSS will decide LWP or LWOP.

I feel like I should know this, but what about if we run out of alternates, and there aren't enough jurors? Mistrial? Or do over?

I also think it was panic attacks.

No worries. The 'emo' tag is just very annoying & knee-jerk to me. I've had it for SO long because of how I look, and I hate it! (I'm actually WAY too old to be called that - seriously!)

No hard feelings, mate :toast:

No he damn well knew this would happen. He's just trying to put as much time between his case and those victim impact statements. And hoping the more time that goes by they might loose more jurors and get a mistrial. It's strategy.

see now, EVERYTIME I looked out and saw Tanisha and Steven, I would remember and replay those VIS. I would probably hear them when I went to bed at night. Something that was that heartfelt and heartbreaking will be with them for a long time, if not for the rest of their lives. They will (hopefully) never again hear something that real (not something from the movies) and that gut wrenching again in their lives.

Sorry. I deleted my post. I actually really liked your picture. My humor doesn't always translate. I think you look great.

I've never supported the DP until I came across the CMJA case. Not because I think she will ever see her sentence carried out but for the reasons you described. I have said this since day 2 of her cross exam. She'd do TOO well in prison, and would excel there. It's exactly why I want DP for her
