Whatever happened to the attorneys reading the jurors' demeanor and body language and switching tactics if necessary? It is as if Nurmi doesn't get it and just keeps droning and droning and droning while the jurors drop off one by one.

And every girl gets it too. When you realize that a guy is ONLY calling you at midnight to 'come on over', you have to make the decision yourself whether to participate in the relationship OR NOT. I think the female jurors will get it too. If u want to be friends with benefits YOU CAN. If not, you end it.

You think it's bad watching it via tweeting, I'm having a PTSD moment from being in the courtroom. It's way worse in person...exhausting. I watched that jury like a hawk and you'd see them come alive as soon as JM got up (I also spoke with many of them who confirmed that sentiment--after the trial was over).

i can't be the only one that finds nurmi constantly referring to travis at tdogg...yeah it was a nickname but in this setting i just find it highly disrespectful. to travis and his family.

I agree. Through their eyes, for some reason, dating around and not committing young to women and deciding not to settle is wrong. There is nothing wrong or abusive with not wanting to marry every girl you have feelings for and who wants to marry you. Travis was waiting for the right girl. And? That's just how they viewed the world and they thought they were being good friends. I don't judge them. They had also been duped by Jodi.

Being 30 and an unmarried Mormon is a big issue in that religion, from what I understand. They had no idea when they sent these emails that they were being duped by Jodi and that she would go on to brutally slaughter Travis. I mean, who would have thought that without the benefit of 20/20 hindsight? :moo:

It's the 29th anniversary of my brother's murder. I'm so sad and so angry about this travesty of a trial! God bless the Alexanders and all other victims who mourn the loss of loved ones. I know there are too many of you reading here.

And this mindreader? JM and TA family know this kind of carp is all the DT has, and that it could easily backfire and put a needle in her arm.

It's painful, but we're truly heading to the finish line now.

Maybe the strategy is to put them to sleep, then when they fall off their chair and get a concussion from hitting the railing they'll have to drop off the jury.

Judge heard arguments today but didn't rule yet. Juan says the deletions happened while it was in the defense's possession and was even present when they booted it up. He says he talked to previous counsel who confirmed this. He says the sites were viruses, which is evident by the being accessed after Travis had already died.

You would be very very surprised. I say that as a Mormon and from personal experience about the player culture among young single Mormons. And I also say it because I have no idea if you were serious or being sarcastic. Sadly there's a common phrase called "dunk 'em, then dump 'em" referencing guys who date non-members only to baptize them and then break up because it makes them look good to convert people. (at least that's MOO)

I know right. Books have been written about it. Movies have been made. "He's not that into you." "Think like a man". A mistake some women make, and I'm not judging, since I've made mistakes too.. Is jump into one of these friends-with-benefits relationships, thinking that the guy will eventually fall in love with you because you're great at sex and a 3 hole wonder. In JA case, I don't think it was a mistake - it was a well thought out plan. I'm going to hook him with sex. He's not going to be able to go back to "vanilla sex" after me. He's going to marry me. And when it didn't work she decided that if she couldn't have him, no one would.
