My thoughts exactly, if he was not going to leave the area then why call and say car broken down only to later drive away. Seems to me like he was attempting to throw them off and mislead them from the beginning. Maybe give the illusion of foul play?

I think he may really have met with foul play. Why even bother to call anyone to say a car broke down if one was fleeing? Then they'd know the car broke down and where..

Not sure. I just read about this today in the what JR. saw thread. The only thing I heard before was "man in black" but maybe after questioning him they determined he wore a ski mask? Interesting to say the least. If he wore a ski mask then he most definitely wore gloves and that could be why they haven't reported finding fingerprints.

On the flip side if he entered the room to take Haleigh with the mask on I surely imagine she would have screamed out of fear or at least made some noise if she was awake. That's if she was awake. There's always the possibility that she slept through the abduction until he got outside with her.

On another topic has it been mentioned if perps trail was visual outside? It seems like the ground would track fairly well to get a shoe print off it. Has any of this been mentioned? Shoe prints found?

While protecting the innocent victim, I'd like to know more about the first offense of CR. such as;
Did he have prior history to the address where he committed the crime?
Did he have prior history to any member of the family of the victim?
mmanley should be able to answer these questions, so I pose them to her.

If any of those answers are a yes, I'd like to know if CR;
has any prior history to that m. home where Haleigh lives or to that park, such as past tenants, or school friends, or his own family members, or friends.
has any prior history to RC. This may be quite possible being as they are the same age.
Did RC and CR go to the same high school, or have the same friends.
Did he know any family members of RC such as his sister?
Can we place RC and CR living in the same town at the same time?

Or maybe he is innocent and afraid this crime would be pinned on him so he is scared.Or maybe he was a victim of crime and his car was hijacked as he is young and small and someone could overpower him. Maybe someone helped him with a boost and then kidnapped chad and used the car for a crime.

I had uncovered some info and turned it into crimestoppers 5 days ago. I got a response today that they were turning the info over to Marion County. I was so mad. I wrote back and told them that if Marion County had done their job to begin with Chad may have been found by now and no wonder there are so many sexual predators who obscond still out running the streets to offend again when LE is so lax in persuing them as soon as they are missing. I am still fuming!!!!

I was on another site and there was a media article. It said that LE was trying to get the security film from Lowes. I am remember media reported that Amy said CR called her saying the car broke down at Walmart, She got there and CR and car were gone. She found the car later in Sumter county on 441. There is a Lowes on 441, maybe that is where she found the car. Also media reported that someone named Ryan told LE that CR had called him on the 3rd but when he picked up and said hello the CR's phone hung up/disconnected/died. Who is this Ryan and if CR did indeed call him on the 3rd it sounds less likely that CR was in danger at that point. JMO
