Satsuma is right smack in the middle of Bunnelll, Deland, and Palatka, and those DOC offices were given just to provide some orientation. Satsuma is is the same judicial circuit and dept of corrections area as Daytona.

argh - wish I had taken the time to figure out how Pirate gets maps on here.
If you look at the maps that I [hope I] linked to below, then Dept of Corrections should have BOLO for Chad in the area where he lived & worked. But they don't! On his absconded flier, it has Daytona Beach which includes Satsuma.

For the record, someone else noted this earlier but it went right over my head.

I still think one of his jail buds is hiding him out. Chad was not out that long and was in prison for many years...actually growing up in jail. I think he would have developed some close relationships while in jail. I am still on it LFlorida. He is still on my radar.

lakeland, I was looking for S's priors [apparently he has other convictions for L&L based on the criminal dockets] and I found another Snod who I think would have been in prison at the same time as Ch--. I don't know if there is any relationship between the 2 S's, though.

That's a good point. My question is, why did he disappear and need to be hidden? Did he commit a crime that knew would be reported soon? Did he plan on committing a crime? He seemed to have the support of family and friends, a job, etc., so there has to be a good reason he left and is hiding.

I can't find anything on another s.. I did find a RSO that was in jail at the same time as Chad but was released 3 years prior to chad. An older guy offended in volusia county but registered to an address in interlachan.

Since we are stuck chasing our tails in the actual Haleigh case, I'm getting back to work on finding Chad R. I have to admit that I am somewhat skittish on what to post here; would hate to get T-O'ed. But here it goes.

If you do a search of Ch's mother (Deb.) in Ocklawaha, you get an associated name that owns a cold storage facility in Auburndale, FL. [Yeah, creeped me out, too.]

Another angle of approach - I saw a comment by Danyell's roommate on topix re: Danyell's death. Might want to run down info on her.

Yet another angle would be Amy B., the woman whose car Chad supposedly left the bar in on 2/1-2/2. WSer bls found a woman by that name who had been charged in both KY and OH for a bad crime. We need to try to see if it is the same Amy B.

I was just checking to see if CR had surfaced and see no new news.
I was reading the D.V. Dam case and found two similarities as in the Haleigh case. Mom and dad in that case were partiers and swingers and were partying the night their dd went missing, taken from her bed. No one noticed because they were high and drunk and D.W. walked in and took DVD and raped and murdered her.
So, looking into all the RSO/SO again would be a good idea. It would hurt.

I also agree.
His MO, which to me shows that he must have had previous offenses [and possibly not caught] to have gotten to the point where he would done a ski mask and enter a dwelling in the middle of night with adults in it to commit the crime or he was taught those things buy an older mentor, someone that was able to influence him from a very young age to have attempted that brazen of an act for as his first time.
If you follow those two ideas to the next logical step he could have very well decided to take his crime to the next level and snatch a child to eliminate being caught 'in the act'. It means he has learned and evolved. Remove the victim from her environment before committing the SO reduces espouser.
With his knowledge of the general area and the fact that he has at least rudimentary skills [and we do not know what he may have leaned while being in prison] in living in the outdoors he may have felt that he was capable of sustaining himself off the land. He could have very easily accumulated any necessary provisions while he was working without anyone being the wiser. A simple layaway plan like the one at Cabelas that sells that stuff and he would not even have to worry about finding a place to hide those items from his friends and family while staying at home.

He needs to be found because if he is not dead and he had nothing to do with Haleigh the stats for re-offense show he will find himself another victim.

ITA. I cannot believe this guy has not been apprehended! He seems to fit as a candidate for "our perp" in regards to Haleigh's abduction. If Satsuma PD has hit a wall, has no leads, then I think they need to start actively searching for this guy. At least it's a possibility and if they found him they could at the very least maybe eliminate him as a suspect. I mean, at least it's something!

I agree...unless they really have something on MC or RC or one of the other family members and are waiting for them to slip up they should be looking for this guy. Actually they should be looking for him anyway. I keep coming back to him as well.

On March 18 at 10:42 a.m., I posted a bigger photo of Chad's Missing poster on this thread so you can see the pattern on that jacket better. I don't know what colors are in it, but in black and white, it almost looks like a pattern you would see on a woman's garment. [JMUIO. I don't know that much about fashion.]

Still need to figure out who JoAnna is.

Thx for the compliment, though. I intend to continue searching for him or his dead body unless/until Sheriff Hardy personally calls and tells me to stop. Or I'll happily accept a phone call from one of his parents or his good friends Bill, Holly, Joanna.

She [Joanna] has a friend named Jeremiah on her list of friends. He's only 14 yrs old, so that's not J Re/Ra-gan. Don't know if that's the one I noticed before, or not.
