Police issue Silver Alert for missing Narragansett man

Police have issued a Silver Alert for a Narragansett man who was reported missing Tuesday.

According to police, Andrew Byrnes, 81, was last seen walking around in the area of Deangelis Drive in Narragansett.

Police believe Byrnes is endangered. He is known to frequent Providence by bus.

Police searching for Narragansett man reported missing

The Narragansett Police Department is asking the public to help them find a man who has been reported missing and is “believed to be endangered due to physical and/or mental health issues.”

He was wearing gray fleece, blue jeans and gray sneakers.

Police described Byrnes as a white man who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 205 pounds. He has hazel eyes and white hair.
