Found Deceased RI - John Benevides, 46, Coventry, 17 June 2017

John Benevides, 46, of Coventry, was listed by his family as missing since Friday, June 17, according to a posting on the Coventry Police Department’s Facebook page.

Officers said he had been known to travel to Providence via bus, and he has also frequented the river that runs along Washington Street in Coventry on foot.

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — The search for the missing Coventry man John Benevides has come to an end Tuesday afternoon.

Family members confirmed to ABC6 News Benevides’ body was found around 2:31p.m., on a river bank of the Pawtuxet River behind a local pharmaceutical company on Washington Street.
