Here you've got a mass shooting, pivoting to what amounts to an assassination. I can't find any precedent.

What about Sandy Hook? Reverse order, he killed his mom first and then went to the school? Maybe more of a domestic than an assassination.

Psychologically, it does seem that this shooter would be more likely to have a hit list of assassinations or do a multiple location mass shooting. Maybe something spooked him and he thought a second mass shooting at a school, especially one 50 miles away and also Ivy League (which certainly put campus security into overdrive) was simply too risky?

Or, Occam's Razor, investigators are doing due diligence by checking out some of the obvious similarities that are merely coincidental.

There's always a first for every single one of these events. Sandy Hook. No precedence, yet horrifically it happened. The list of "firsts" sadly goes on an on. And frankly, often these types look for things to make them stand out, that's how diabolical they are.

Authorities investigating the deadly shooting at Brown University over the weekend have identified the suspect, a law enforcement source told 25 Investigates on Thursday.

If they don't find him soon, maybe releasing his identity would help. If they now suspect 2 cases could be linked, it would be even more concerning that something else could be planned and apprehending him asap could prevent whatever else might be planned.

Agree (I made the same reference to SH). I bet this guy thought he was being so clever by driving to another state to commit another murder. He's obviously incredibly stupid and arrogant.

Help me understand why LE wouldn't publicize this info? Pictures, name, state of origin. The POI already knows LE is onto him, so it's not going to help him escape, if nothing else would make his capture quicker.
