Boston NewsCenter 5 is showing the helicopter footage now. It's a man in front of a silver SUV (so perhaps unrelated?) but the scene does seem relatively calm. Not entirely sure what's going on. Providence police is on the scene of the arrest.

EDIT: NewsCenter 5 now says they can't confirm they're taking someone into custody.

A man was seen being lead out of a southern New Hampshire building with his hands up and placed in custody Thursday evening during the multi-state manhunt for a person sought in connection with a mass shooting at Brown University and the fatal shooting of an MIT professor.

They didn't end up taking him into custody. They had him come out of his car with hands up (allegedly, there was no video), but then released him back to his car. Likely a witness?

Right, the commentator doesn't know who this guy is yet. He was not taken into a cruiser with handcuffs.

They have ID’d someone, and apparently have a warrant for their arrest.

But no one is in custody right now.

No arrests as of yet. There was a man who was questioned by LE and then allowed to return to his vehicle.
