UNSOLVED RI - North Kingstown, Skeletal Remains, near Route 138 & 1A, Mar'15

Bones were found Thursday by a person who was searching for deer antlers along Route 1A near Route 138, there is a case from 2008 that is still open. NAMUS lists 14 people missing in Rhode Island, but none in North Kingstown.

It's not the North Kingstown PD jurisdiction though. Guess it could still be thought local since it's not very far.

But this sounded like it was their own case

North Kingstown police said they don't have any current missing persons cases, but there is a case open from 2008. They did not provide any details.
