The Office of the State Medical Examiner on Wednesday identified one of two “severely decomposed” bodies found in Menard’s Woonsocket home as Menard. The identity of a second person had not been finalized, but she lived with longtime boyfriend Dan Grabowski. The cause of death for both individuals was still pending as of press time, but both had experienced health issues and police were not treating the deaths as suspicious.

The home, according to Woonsocket’s property tax database, was owned by Menard. There appeared to be at least one vehicle in the driveway Monday.
Daniel Grabowski is also listed as a resident of the home.
Richardson said there were no signs of foul play, but the deaths are under investigation.

"Menard’s brother, Robert Miller, died last Saturday, Sept. 17, according to an obituary this week. She was listed in that obituary as still living."

A second decomposed body found this week in the home of former Rhode Island mayor Susan Menard, who was identified as the other body, has been identified as her boyfriend, authorities said Friday.

Daniel Grabowski also died in Menard’s Woonsocket home, according to a statement from the Office of the State Medical Examiners at the Rhode Island Department of Health. Grabowski’s cause of death was type 2 diabetes, officials said.

Authorities identified Menard's body earlier this week as one of the two dead in the house. Menard died from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, officials said Friday. The bodies were discovered on Monday.

Thanks for the update. She must have suffered terribly, especially because it sounds like she was no longer able to call for help.

I can't imagine what they both went through. :(

I had to look up the conditions and yes they must have really suffered

I wonder if one passed away first and the other was being cared for by them and was unable to call anyone.
Maybe they weren't in reach of a phone ?
