With MC and RC's track record, I lean towards believing CJ BUT what I don't understand is why he would say for sure no one else was in the truck? I guarantee he'd see them all if they were in the truck especially since, IIRC, the windows aren't tinted. What does CJ get out of lying about that ???

From the 911 tapes, doesn't sound like they were on the cross road from Pomona Park to Welaka. Says on those tapes they're coming down the 309 from Satsuma.

But CJ's 911 tape does have a very loud car passing him at a high rate of speed.

I'm so torn as to who's the bigger a$$hat in this whole thing. It could be a tie!!!

Something I am confused about. Misty's Incident report involving the phone calls. Why is it that the incident is listed under the 4th ave address? I thought Misty was living on TYLER ST and Ron was taking her over to GMM's to pick up the rest of her things. I am sooo confused.

P.S. On CJ's 911 call he tells the 911 operator he knows how PC works and how Ron won't be arrested. I guess he was right. Ron is still out and the case was sent over to the prosecutors office. Anyone else would of been put in jail ASAP "IMO". I wonder why they didn't book Ron?

According to the police report Mistys cellphone has a NC phone number. Wasn't her "friend" Donna from NC and wasn't it reported Tim Miller gave Ron and Misty cell phones? Could it be Misty is on Donna's cellphone plan? If so it sure gives hope.

debs, you are correct. I just listened to both 911 calls and both CJ and MC clearly state that they are southbound toward Welaka on 309.

I don't understand at all how the PCSO report says after talking to both RC and CJ that the incident began and happened on 308B (the cross road you refer to):

It was never my intention to create confusion with both my map and post. These people do that well enough on their own.

I do notice that the officer met with Ron at his house, where he was already. That doesn't mean that Ronald didn't have that gun in his hand IN that truck WITH two children (and Misty).

I can only imagine how terrified the children were. Get all children away from Ronald Cummings, for pete's sake!!!!

I don't have a problem with how Ronald is trying to force Charles off the road; Charles is pretty clear that Ronald is slamming on his brakes and to avoid a collision, Charles would have to swerve. But Ronald had 2 children with him......WHO?? I guess it doesn't matter, but Charles' 911 call definitely has the sound of an engine speeding past him, and Charles is describing to the operator that Ronald is racing up to him and now passing. He says he himself is doing 75-80.

Everyone in this incident was reckless and children were endangered. Arrest them all.

It started on 309 but, per CJ's audio, continued on to 308B toward Ponoma. So the question is why it continued to 308B? Don't they all live right off of 309?

My hinky meter is off the charts right now, too. I really don't think they all just "happened upon eachother" that night. I also don't think RC was being a gentleman and taking MC to pick up her belongings. There's so much more to this story, but, the way this has gone for 10 1/2 months, we probably will never hear it.

Just theories here...
It would be possible that if in fact Misty and two children were in the car maybe they were hiding/sitting low so that CJ could not see them. Maybe Ron didn't want them to be seen. Maybe Ron had a gun and told Misty and the kids, get down.

As for why CJ didn't get away, well from the way it sounded in the 911 call he did try and took a turn somewhere to turn around but Ron was behind him again. I guess that is how Misty got CJ's license plate number...so to me Ron must of been the one behind CJ. The 911 operator was telling CJ what to do while he was on the phone waiting to find an officer as well. You can also hear "A" loud truck advancing at a high rate of speed several times during that 911 call by CJ.

As for Ron forcing CJ's car off the road that does not mean there would be damage to either cars, they may know how to handle their cars pretty good.
Maybe there are tire marks on the interstate and around the area that the car was forced off. To bad I don't live in the area I would go take a look..
So, I assume LE has-or I hope LE took pictures of the area of the incident. Soon that will be known if so.
As for who called 911 first, not sure...did it say who called first- call times? I missed that.
I just hope who ever is responsible for the incident pays, this is not a game and having someone threated to shoot you is no game either regardless.
And having children in the car, that is just reckless and should be noted if true they were in the car. Someone should pay for putting those children's lives in danger as well.

For what ever reason LE sent the report to the prosecutors office with Ron being the one at fault. Did they send anything on CJ besides the phone calls? IF so I missed it.
Again, all very good questions and I have many more and I hope LE/ TJ can get some answers next week.

The number listed on the recent report for misty is a landline based in Jacksonville North Carolina.

Funny, how people assume RC is the one in the right. CJ should have turned his cheek..but not RC...LOl.

RC is the one with the children in the car...not CJ!

This is the third time I have heard of reckless driving when rc has children in the car.

1..serious car wreck with injuries.
2..at the bus stop
3..Hwy 308B.

Yet, he still gets a pass with some. What is it going to take for people to realize he is dangerous? The death of a child?

CJ doesn't get anything out of it, but you can bet that Ron needed an alibi and we know how well Misty lies due to ole Ron's ratgate experiment with Misty, they both blow smoke so much it probally looks like Putnam County is on fire when they open their mouth ...
