Ron and Misty Have Brushes With The Law 12/30/09

  • #221
Can you imagine how difficult rc was to raise? I am willing to bet he was defiant as all get out. He has been running his mother and GM around in circles for years...imo.

I am afraid that if LE gets close, he is going to explode. He said as much. He said he would kill himself and take out some others around him.

To answer a question earlier posed about why hasn't LE gone back 30 days. Well, misty and rc have not cooperated in that effort. It is difficult to go backwards when the two main people resist LE efforts to do so. In Ron's words, "What do they need to know besides I wasn't there?"...

It is all about him.

rc needs a babysitter. Where was Granny? Did they call her to unlock the cabinet while they drove there? He can't be left on his own....

(snip) Just the sort of thing I'd have said myself... lol ;)

Only a narcissist would call LE when somebody calls him a name. Exactly WHO does rc think he is? He sure believes he is all that and a bag of chips.

CJ: "I know how PC works--and (RC's) not goin to jail."

Yes, kiki...you did say that. Where do you think I got the thought? I should have given you credit.

I think the locals can handle this from here. They have a better handle on this. They know how LE operates and they must have heard some rumors around town about the Cummings, since the Cummings have lived a long time in the area.

LF has told us LE wants to find Haleigh....real bad. I have to go with the locals. Yes, I am frustrated but they just don't have the proof to get either one of them. For all those who didn't think rc was involved, by now, I think most have had to have changed their minds. The antics played out by these two are ridiculous and telling.

At this point, they oughta take a look at that boy who was sent to prison for many years. Was the truth told by the Croslins? If not, this is a real travesty. He must be almost 20 now and is serving his time as an adult in a state prison...Seven years yet to do...

During the two 911 calls, CJ and Misty both seem astonished to pass by a police car. Both expressions are virtually the same "Oh! There's a police car!" CJ is doing well over 70, and Ronald is just passing him.

I heard no sirens start up, though.

There was a lot of heat on this thread that turned over into bashing the players in this case. That's not how we roll on WS. Time doesn't allow me to edit all the posts involved, so they are gone now.

You guys know the rules. I'm not going to state them again. Thanks!

Well darn, we know you can't possibly investigate a weapn locked in a cabinet, right? I mean if its locked in a cabinet where you can't question anything right? Not picking on you, just frustrated with the lack of investigation on the part of LE here.

It was investigated according to the report. The officer stated RC said he had a gun like that but it was not carried on him; it was locked in a gun cabinet. Then the officer stated that RC showed him the cabinet and the gun. Not much LE can do if they didn't see him with it, and he has a built in witness to verify he didn't have it.
I get what you are saying. That it wasn't the same gun in the incident and that is a good possibility. All I am saying is that he did have plenty of time to lock it back in the cabinet before LE pulled up to question them.

I don't feel picked on. We are just hashing out possibilities with the gun. No biggie to me. :)

forgive my ignorance but who would that be?

I am just sitting here shaking my head at this entire thing.

I know if I was afraid and behind someone who had threatened my life I would tailgate them enough that if they slammed on their brakes I would run into the back end of them, I also would keep trying to pass them every chance I got so I could get in front of them and have them following me instead of staying way back waiting for police to arrive. It is amazing that you don't hear his voice change or hear him striking RC's truck like he claimed happened but wait they found no damage so maybe it was just a love tap going at about 5mph. I would also wait to mention the threat on my life until much later in the conversation - I would make sure LE knows that I just know he has a gun in the car but LE says its ok because he has a permit - and then much later I would mention oh ya he pulled a gun out and yelled at me - yet we hear no RC yelling on the tape but CJ could clearly make out exactly what RC said. I would also make sure it was ok if I pulled a gun and shot RC if RC pulled a gun on me first. Then after I was terrified and I lost sight of the person who had threatened my life - I would turn around and go back in his direction realizing that I would pass him on the road again.

I have no doubt RC and CJ both had a gun in their vehicles (pics of CJ with guns so yes he does have them) but it is a he said she said situation except one of their stories don't make sense at all. I am sure both were contributing to the situation and at fault. But it is a good excuse as any to say see RC never takes responsibility he won't go to jail. If one goes to jail they all need to go to jail but there is that little matter of pesky evidence that gets in the way. CJs 911 call doesnt make sense and there was no damage to either vehicle so that kinda hurts CJs case and no one can prove RC pulled a gun.

So fed up with all this.

Me too, B/L.

If CJ was being threatened by Ron who was in front of him, why not turn around and haul a$$ to the substation at the end of 309 on Hwy 17S? If Ron was behind him, why not pull up at WPD chief's office or fire dept laying on your horn?

That's what my Daddy taught to me do if I was being followed or otherwise harassed by someone in a vehicle.

Whole danged thing reminds me a bit too much of the Donna B victim carp in Seminole County. I have NEVER ever heard of a dispatcher advising you to stay in the chase, esp if you already gave license plate and description of vehicle. [Thankfully, I haven't been involved in one of those since high school, lol. so no 1st hand experience.]

Emeralgem, they can't be accused of doing much of anything but sitting on their hands.

Much appreciated, lone. What part of the country is it you live in? Just curious if we could do any comparative analysis.

forgive my ignorance but who would that be?

An old case supposedly involving a very young Misty. A poster purporting to be the mom of a girl the same age as Misty at same h/s, posted the info.

I'm not at all sure why whips is draggin' that case up again.

[HEY, whips! What's your angle here?!]

If what the poster [now b a n n e d ] wrote is legit, it should certainly be looked into again by all agencies involved which did NOT include Putnam County, btw.

How the heck it can be considered relevant to this case, IDK. Misty was allegedly a victim and was just barely a teen.

LSS - don't encourage that line of discussion because IMO, it's irrelevant at best, further injurious to a victim at worst.
