What violent assault???? I assume you are talking about the allegations made by the convicted criminals that trespassed on his property and tried to forcibly remove his wife from her home??? Unless I missed something, he's not even come close to being convicted of that. I think it is honourable that a man would try to stop people from trespassing on his property in the middle of the night, where a child and grandmother also live, in order to try to remove his wife from their home against her will. I'd think my dad was a loser if he didn't try to protect my mom from people trying to do that to her. He's already had his daughter taken by god knows who, do you really think he should just let Misty be taken against her will too?

Are you calling the same people who signed away their underage daughter to Ron to marry, convicts? It was ok to have them give away the blushing bride and celebrate the wedding but now they are convicts? Man, Ron really lowered his standards marrying into that family...........What was he thinking???????? Maybe he can clean Misty up and make a respectable woman out of her, heck under his tutulege and influence theres no telling how high that girl could climb in her quest to better herself. It looks like he should have just sent Grandma out there to tend to matters. He could have been hurt trying to save Misty from those convicts!

IMO...I think it is exactly what Ronald has done for Misty by marrying her...clean her up completely.
IMO...he is trying to provide for her, give her support, love, and to prevent ANYONE from harming her. IMO...those are all things a good husband should do for his wife.
IMO...she is much better off with the Cummings' family than with the people who pushed her out the door or allowed her to leave as a young teenager with no supervision other than her abusive brother in Daytona who has no respect for the woman he married.
IMO...she is probably doing better without her family during this stressful time in her life with them adding additional stress on her.

Wow. I certainly would not recommend Haleigh and Rj read through everything that has taken place in the past six months concerning their parents and families then go back through every record etc.!! OMG! I can't even begin to imagine the kind of therapy it would take to unburden them, imo. That would be enough to send most people to the loony bin for life, imo.

I still don't even want to imagine my parents as ever having sex much less to read every single sordid detail of their lives!!

I do hope if they happen to skim things someday they will see the family and their father had many supporters along the way tho. At least, I pray it would serve as some kind of balance in this nightmare for them. If Haleigh and Rj were to read this sometime in the future then it would mean their father or step-mother did nothing to harm anyone and they were back together as a family, imo. What a lovely thought!

I stand by my comment that when the children are adults they should read the facts in the case and not be influenced by either parent on their own agendas. As adults, they should find out the truth about their lives and not some made up crap.

I don't know anyone who suspects Crystal.

IMO...they will only need to ask questions and the truth will be provided to them by people they love and trust. They should have no real reason to get into the horrific rumors, innuendo, and details of this case or their families' histories, imo. To do so...imo...would be much more than they could handle since they lived it whether they are adults or not. I would not even suggest this for my own worst enemy because I would not want their suicide on my conscience.

For one, I hope that the children read the court documents concerning how Ron got custody of them in the first place. I hope that they attend school so that they can read and understand the truth to the situation. I hope they also see that they probably have a half brother around there someplace and maybe more that Ron has fathered. I hope they see where their father and their new stepmommy refused to help LE with questions and I hope they ask him WHY! I hope they don't believe it when someone remarks that their mother did not love them enought to fight for them. There are alot of things that they will need to know. That's just for starters.

I don't think they're sure Crystal was 2 hours away as they won't eliminate her as a suspect and said that she didn't have a solid alibi.

In the case of Ron being in NY, that would be a different situation as he was on tv, and that would be considered a solid alibi, and the fact that there is a required flight back and forth etc they would have a good idea when he was in/around Satsuma. It doesn't seem Crystal or Chad has been able to prove to LE they didn't go to Satsuma the night Haleigh went missing, so perhaps they should head down to LE and give 100% in trying to prove that so they can be eliminated as suspects too?

"Convicts"....lol....no. The convicts came to Australia! I'd refer to people in jail as convicts

I never condoned them allowing their 17 year old to marry, though I can see why a girl in her situation might want to find herself a new family, so to speak. I don't think anyone should get married before they are at least 30, and perhaps 50 or 60...lol. I already once made the mistake of getting married too young myself.

As for him lowering his standards etc, it seems your comment in that regard is loaded with sarcasm, so I won't bother addressing it.

Unfortunately everything that everyone posts here is out there in cyber-world. The more people post about Haleigh's parents or relatives all it takes is a few simple words in "google" and up pops everything including what is posted at WS.

Ouch....frankly, if Crystal cleans up her act I see no reason why they need to know that she couldn't be bothered getting out of bed to get her daughter to doctor's appointments, LE found crack on her property during the search for her etc. But I suppose if they do read all that, it would be good for them to know that at least their daddy and grandma cared enough to get out of bed and get her to the docs when she needed to go etc.

I don't know who gets to decide what is okay and what isn't, but I can comment on the impression it leaves me with..... people who don't have any questions and don't want to work with the police to put the pieces together generally already know the answers

How do you think it would help them to know that mommy didn't bring Haleigh to doctor's appt's because she didn't feel like getting out of bed? I don't get that, particularly given you seem to staunchly support Crystal. Do you think they should also know about her mishap with the ax, the crack found on her property, the dog fighting etc?? Or do you just want them to read the bad stuff about their dad?
