Someone mentioned a few pages back that they had never heard from LE Ron refused to talk to investigators. Maybe this will help.

Cummings has cut off interviews with investigators.

“Besides ‘No I didn’t have nothing to do with my child being missing,’ what do you say?” he asked.

Maj. Gary Bowling, director of law enforcement for the department, said detectives would like to interview Cummings again but have been resisted.

It has been thoroughly discussed as to why Ronald would or would not subject himself to even more interviews from LE. I don't have any problem with him not talking to them at this point. There is simply nothing more he can give them, imo.

IMO…..It could probably go something like this.....
“I wish you would have asked me about counseling for RJ before you took
him because I as his father would have liked a say so in the matter!”

I also think if the shoe was on the other foot and Ron took him then some
here would be just as upset.

When a child RJ's age is taken into counseling they talk to the parent first
to ask what the problem seems to be.... IMO this is where I think
Crystal is at fault because both parents were not there so this could lead
in any direction Crystal wanted to take it!

I see this as a manipulation of counseling just as I would if Ron took RJ in
without Crystal’s wishes or her being there herself!
Both parents need to be involved in his counseling PERIOD!
And if it's one sided then it's to cause manipulation and NOT in the child’s
best interest. IMO IMO IMO!

IF she was so worried she should have called Ron and told him she was going to take
this action and ask for him or someone from his family to be there too!

Right, except Ron is a control freak- Do we even know if Crystal is in contempt, because I dont think she is- I mean for a guy who is basically accused of beating up his new family he really does not have a leg to stand on about anything and should just be lucky Jr hasn't been taken from him, because its going to happen, either a Judge is going to wise up, or Ron will be arrested and a ward of the state-

Both is very likely to happen, imo.

Sorry I was just correcting the person's statement. Perhaps they have new information, a tip that needs verifying, maybe questions about one of his friends, a neighbor, how well so & so may know Haleigh, the list of possibilities could be endless. He is now not considered a suspect and he does want to help find his daughter right?:waitasec:

Ron is always listed as Plaintiff on the custody stuff, its just how it works- but please show me something where Ron went to court and filed against Crystal- I think its in his best interests to not even attempt something like that, and if he is contesting his child talking to someone, wow, I stand by my first assessment- CONTROL FREAK.

Why does Ron need to "take Crystal to Court"? There is already a hearing scheduled for the 27th. All issues will be worked out at that point in time.

Also, perhaps everyone should STOP making assumptions as to what Ron Cummings wants related to his son since no one here really knows. Have ANY of you spoken to him about whether or not he wants counseling for Junior? Have ANY of you spoken to Teresa? Doubtful. I think it is clear that none of you know his intentions relating to Junior seeing a counselor. IMO, I think Ron will have no problem with Junior seeing a counselor. However, Ron is not going to want Junior seeing a counselor in Baker County, nor one picked by Crystal or her attorney. Ron is the parent that has residential custody. The counselor should be one that he picks together with Crystal. These two PARENTS have joint legal custody, and as such, they are supposed to make decisions like this TOGETHER!

Before people jump all over Ron claiming he is denying his child "medical treatment", why not wait until the truth comes out.

Crystal has joint custody, and Ron is not the boss of the world, which he will soon find out- In my opinion Ron is making a stink about therapy for junior- If anyone needs therapy in this story its Ron, he shouldn't even be questioning therapy for his child, unless he thinks Jr doesn't miss his sissy- can I see the link where it states Crystal wants a shrink in her county for Jr?

Again, how do YOU know Ron is questioning therapy? Ron has EVERY RIGHT to be involved in the decision as to who Junior sees for therapy. Crystal has no right to make that decision on her own. Crystal is not the "boss" to Junior either. She is not even his residential custodian. She has no authority to go out and make that type of decision on her own without consulting the parent that DOES have residential custody.

So, perhaps you should wait until the FACTS come out before you try and proclaim you know something about Ron denying Junior therapy.

And Crystal has just as much rights as Ronald, and thats just a fact- If Ronald truly cared about his son he would send him to live Crystal and his two step brothers and sister, with a farm to run free on, instead of living with a girl who lost his sissy and wont cooperate with LE-

I hope at this hearing the Judge removes the child from Ron-

I would think he would not just want to be there but make it a priority to be there. He has a lawyer so I assume it wouldn't be for hours on end. We don't know whether LE has sent the attorney questions, just that he is resisting. I frankly don't understand not answering questions especially with a lawyer!

Conveniently, LE does not specify what they mean by "resisting", imo. It was only stated to make Ronald look bad which serves no real purpose other than to apply pressure, imo.

Ronald's priority is to search for Haleigh and bring her home which is what they are now doing by hiring MN and getting TES back out to look for her, imo. The time for going to LE and being an open book has passed when they haven't come up with anything to help bring her home, imo.

He isn't going to sit for hours on end anymore and they may consider it "resisting", imo. With their terminology, resisting could mean so many things tho.

I believe he openly cooperated before, imo.

Crystal ignored the court order by taking him to a counselor
appointment without his father' s consent. Plain and Simple!
When there is a custody issue and something like this is done without
the other parent knowing about it until after the fact it is done for
the wrong reasons!
I’m sorry you don't seem to see something wrong with that but I do.
This is not on Ron's shoulders.... it's on Crystals. And I'm not sure how
it makes Ron a control freak for wanting to have a say so in the counseling
of Jr.
A control freak to me is someone who wants to make the decisions
on their own without the other parents consent and goes against a court order to do so!
The counselor knew it was wrong (and against the laws) and that is why they said they
would not see Jr. again until Ron approved it!
I have not seen any proof that Ron has said he doesn’t agree that Jr. should see a counselor.
I can understand him not wanting him to see the one that Crystal took him to
if it was without his permission or knowledge… not to mention how far away from his
physical residence.

Bowling said it takes rock-solid alibis before detectives can eliminate anyone and those have not been established. He said the best that can be done is assign degrees of suspicion to people.

OMG- she took a child to the Doctor! Shes totally danged if she does and danged if she doesn't huh? Ron is not the control master of the universe like he thinks he is- if he is taking her to court because she took that child to talk someone, he should lose custody of JR-

Also, can you show proof she took him to a shrink without Rons permission?
