This is actually a sleuthing site, which is victim friendly (or at least it was!). It used to be rare that people would post allegations as fact here, but it's becoming more common. The threads used to be littered with maps, public records and all sorts of product from hard working sleuths.

There are some excellent maps available that show the 2 properties and the view between them. I'd highly urge everyone here to put on their sleuthing caps (as opposed to their "judging" caps) for a few minutes and take a look at the map before you jump to conclusions about the credibility of the neighbor.

It is really hard to go by google maps as alot of them are old. I realize they may say 2008 but a look at my home still shows my mulberry tree and my 73 mustang in the drive. Now the mulberry tree has been cut down now for about I think 3 years and the last time I tagged my Mustang was in 2006 it has been in my garage since, so I would not put to much reliabilty into those maps. Plus another thing they have a habit of doing is placing the wrong address to the home, so unless you are physically there, right now I belive it is a moot point. JMO of course

As far as what can be seen--
There is a large easement and the mailboxes are at the edge of the road. The only home around there that cannot directly see the Croslins mailbox is the Croslins unless they are on the side of the home.
A large evergreen is planted between the mailbox and the home.

(bbm) Thanks for pointing that out mystic, and AR... I'm not clairvoyant and personally am not going to presume what was or was not visible. It's getting past ridiculous, is there anyone here who can be bothered with the evidence, reports and facts as we know them? I'll check back, maybe meanwhile someone can find something else to attack besides the account or statement given by a disinterested, impartial neighbor... JMO

"Hank (Jr) stated that he, Lisa and Hank Sr had gotten a phone call from Misty who was crying and yelling. He said that Misty asked for them to come to her residence and pick her up because she no longer wanted to be at the residence with Ronald."

Seems pretty clear to me that when interviewed independently and/or in their respective statements, each in fact confirmed they had received a call from Misty, crying and upset. I didn't say her family never tried to reach her, return her call or w/e. I simply said that a call WAS PLACED per every one of these witnesses to their home pleading for their help. I imagine phone records will bear this out as well. I guess you would have us to believe all THREE are on a vendetta, all THREE filled w spite and revenge, all THREE lying and making false statements, in cahoots to set him up, conspiring to frame poor RC... I'm just not buyin it even GMS and MC refute portions of what you assert.

HC2 can neither predict RC's lawbreaking any more than he is responsible for RC's hairtrigger temper. No amount of minimizing, trivializing, normalizing, rationalizing or spinning the report changes the fact no one reported HC2 "RUSHED" anybody, according to everyone present (including GMS and MC) it was not HC2 but RC who became violent and shoved HC2, a point we've been over and over--made clear in the PR, and crystal with the arrest. Nothing about it was determined to be the slightest in self-defense "protection mode" lol. Quite the opposite. Yet we're to believe everyone was involved in this "set-up."

I don't know what Greenwood's opinion is, mine is that it was a bogus arrest and a bogus accusation.

Tell that to the judge that found the charges to have been justified. And if he is convicted of putting that rat in the mailbox, he's going to be facing some serious jail time pretty soon. Might better stock up on tissues.

Perhaps the eye witness was watching TV and heard the truck. Perhaps she followed through and actually went outside and walked closer as to be able to see. I don't see what all the to-do is about. This thread has become so tedious with so little sleuthing going on it is ridiculous. This is not what WS is all about. I am disappointed. MOO

I have and I understand that , but if someone feels the need to sleuth a woman who saw Ron in his truck around the Croslins home then go right ahead it is ridiculous maybe a little OC. Where talking a dead rat here not a dead child (Caylee) big difference..lol

If you were looking at the right map you would see that there was a lot more than one evergreen obstructing her view.

Innocent people go before judges and go to trial too. That's what your criminal justice system is for. A judge can't decide innocence or guilt on a first appearance. People aren't on trial at that first appearance!

Do you know what really happened to Haleigh that afternoon or that night and who all could be involved?

I suspect the Croslins know something about the night Haleigh disappeared and that is why there was an altercation earlier that afternoon between Ron C and Hank Jr..per GGMS..
I suspect the Croslins want Misty away from Ron C because they know she is covering for him..
Could be.. Even though they are not directly involved in Haleigh's disappearance, they gave false information to LE that night to protect Ron C and Misty...JMO

And in reference to Ron C being protective toward Misty, now thats a crock.
I've seen him walk right past her, ignore her. Never even look her way when she was needing help answering a simple question... Refer to her to the authorites as his Dumb B!+C# girlfriend..And the list goes on.

He doesn't seem too protective toward her to me.... JMO

My bold above. I think that if the brother was over the day that Haleigh disappeared, he has had a lot of time to think about things he may have seen or things he didn't realize he saw, if that makes sense. He may have knowingly or unknowingly given false info to investigators if his sister asked him to "just say" such and such about that night.

Hopefully this fight and rat incident will open up lines of questioning and communication that LE needs to find some answers.

It appears and should be considered by all that RC has some serious issues going on here. The denial of the issues is one thing but the elevation of this man to super parent and wonderful provider is another. His character doesn't dictate or deserve that description and his behavior is not becoming of a role model in any sense of the word..

Yes, perhaps you should. I imagine you'd be devastated if he was found not guilty.

BTW, you're jumping the gun re the rat....he's not even been charged.

She has given a statement and said she was watching tv (presumably in her house) when she saw it happen.

And ITA re the sleuthing...WSers used to do such excellent sleuthing here...I used to be blown away daily by the sleuthing that happened here. Now there are only a few posters left (it seems) that are interested in sleuthing the matters, as opposed to just "jumping on the bandwagon", not doing any research, and posting nothing but criticism re Ron, all day, every day.

Someone asked why the neighbor didn't call 911 when she saw "Ron" pull up to Tommy's mailbox. If I saw someone I knew pull up to my neighbor's mailbox, I wouldn't call 911. If I found out something bad had occurred, I would then tell the police what I knew afterwards, just like the neighbor did.

And thinking that Tommy caused Ron's attack is just beyond belief. Someone may tell me I'm a bad person or slap me, but I then make the decision on how I will respond. No
one makes us do anything. Only in that world of selfishness, immaturity and self love.

Some believe that Misty did not call Tommy and ask for help, I believe she did. Both are just opinions, neither of us knows anything right now, I rely on phone records also.

That would be included. I don't just mean questioning RC & MC but every last person since it may jog someone's memory about something totally new and heretofore unknown. When this is all solved, we might all have our mouths hanging open in shock that "duh, we never even thought about that."

Otherwise this investigation seems to be totally bogged down and stalled.

Have the charges against Ronald been dropped, yet? If not, what's taking so long?? By now, the Croslins have had time to apologize for upsetting Ronald and his bride. And, retract their statements. Has the neighbor admitted to being mistaken or admitted to having a bias against Ronnie? Maybe tomorrow.

This article speaks volumes to me! So, LE is pretty much saying they are 99% sure of what happen to Haleigh or where she may be? Am I just hoping for to much that LE has cracked this case open?

LE says they are missing just ONE PIECE of the puzzle in Haleigh's case and that Ron and Misty both have declined the request for further questioning. http://www.thesky973.com/pages/4999874.php
