Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch told First Coast News this week, "Ron may be saying that now."

Miller said Ronald Cummings told him, as well as Orlando-based attorney Mark NeJame, about two weeks ago that he doubted Misty's story about the night Haleigh disappeared.

Miller told First Coast News, "Ronald's statement right then was, 'The b**** has something to do with Haleigh's disappearance.'"

Yes...but my understanding is that the cuz was to have stolen the gun...at this point I can't keep all of the stories straight though....:crazy:

I am confused as well.... wasn't the cousin staying with the brother?

I'm not so concerned about the pre-paid cell's as much as I have an eyebrow raised as to the reason why TM paid for them.

Why would they think that their phones were being tapped (by FBI) and why would that present a problem if the phones were? That's the thing that really has me curious today.

Just my own honest opinion.... because Ron and Misty aren't used to paying for things. They would not be willing to cough up the money for something like that, or maybe they just didn't have it.

Is Ron finally wising up, or is he just using Misty as a scapegoat?

Ronald knows when and if Misty starts talking he's going down! Misty is very young and stupid, sorry, but she is... she has isolated herself from her family. now Ronald(who i think she does love) is ready to throw her under the bus... it's time to Spill the Beans MISTY about what happened that day.

I just watched NG and here is what I see. Its not 'bombshell" evidence only an observation.

Ron is totally listening to his attorney. He is only saying and doing what his attorney tells him.
On the other hand, Misty is completely ignoring any good counsel that is being offered by her attorney. She may as well be unrepresented.

Looks like maybe Ron is giving Misty her legal advise. Maybe he is telling her his lawyer says its okay or something.

Either way, he is putting her out there and covering his tail. Perhaps he is telling her she has to protect him, or maybe she is too young to comprehend what she is doing.
I don't know. I do know as a parent I would be very concerned to watch my daughter out in the fray as she is while her "beloved protector' is clearly protecting only himself.
Now we hear he is doubting her...SUPRISE!

Well I hope by TM and MN putting out there that RC doesnt believe Mistys story and think she is lying that they havent blown it and Misty does something stupid and we possibly lose all chances of finding Haleigh.

Busy. With everything you know about Tim, do you honestly believe he would do that? You know how close he works with LE, don't you imagine that's what we are seeing?

I honestly don't know what to believe anymore about TM and MN, I am completely shocked by the releasing of the tapes, by the media appearances, by them putting out there on Nancy Grace and news articles that RC doesn't believe Misty. It has been pretty obvious that RC has been doubting Misty but keeping her close to try and get answers - well TM and MN making it clear as mud that RC doesnt believe her and just keeping her around is just gonna make Misty clam up even more or bolt. The person she thought trusted and supported her she finds out doesn't - I don't know how she will respond, but I don't think it is gonna be a good response or help find Haleigh. I am sorry but if Misty truly does hold the answers that will help find Haleigh I am afraid they have just blown it. IMO

I am so glad to hear this. I really think if LE can provide proof to RC on some of Mistys inconsistencies things will change. Like phone records indicating she was up making calls not asleep, or a phone ping shows she was away from the home etc. If records indicate no calls and no pings away from mobile home, I can't blame him for not believing she was not home or not asleep. All he has right now is LE saying she isnt a suspect but holds the key and has been inconsistent. He said tonight on Nancy Grace all he wants is some proof.

If Misty was at her brother's home that night, Hank Jr., wouldn't the phone ping as if she were at Ron's home, since the homes are close together?

I think that LE are just trying a different tactic via MN/TM/TN, they tried the allowing RC and MC to be close for _months_ and it has yielded nothing and they have just clammed up and solidified. They are trying for a break in the case and like everything, it has risks and could backfire but -- they have nothing to lose.

Either this will break the case wide open or we will have to wait until remains are discovered in a missing blanket -- but time is against everyone in terms of forensics (except the perp).

Cousin Joe came to Satsuma from TN about 3 weeks before HaLeigh disappeared. He is described by Misty as a psychopath and he is a SO. He is 21 years of age. It is unclear whether Cousin Joe was staying with Timmy and Chelsea in Crescent City the entire 3 weeks, but cousin Joe was staying with them Feb 9 and the circumstances surrounding the van and the fact that Joe wasn't in his room around midnight cast him under the microscope. It isn't mentioned whether Timmy looked to see if the van was gone when he didn't see Joe in his room; the article said Timmy went back to bed. Apparently LE in TN questioned Joe who has not been ruled out as a suspect. Misty said Joe had molested a 5 year old and that Joe was extremely anxious to leave town after he learned Misty was called in for questioning with regards to HaLeigh's disappearance. Altho Misty does not mention Joe was at the MH on Monday, Feb 9th, there are rumors that he was there and got into a fight with Ron. Not sure when the gun was stolen but it was found in a ditch and Misty states on a recent test that she is the one who found it while being guided by Ron on the phone. They found it under a board in a ditch. Ron denies any of this occurred. I think Timmy and Chelsea need to be brought in for questioning next.

Misty, in an exclusive interview with First Coast News' Jessica Clark, said the bed was not made. "I was sleeping in that bed. How would it be made if someone was sleeping in the bed? I have a lot of respect for Tim Miller and the work he does but I do believe that he needs to keep QUIET about things that he knows. It's not his place to run to the media with everything that Ron says or does. It is up to Ron to tell the media that he doubts Misty. He wasn't ready to admit it on Nancy Grace but he did say that whoever is involved should get the stiffest sentence possible and it doesn't make any difference who it is. I gathered that he was talking about Misty without saying her name. I just wonder if Tim isn't getting to emotionally involved in this case?

RC never denied the gun situation just said there wasn't a fight and it appears there was not a fight. Timmy and Chelsea no longer live in Florida. I do agree they need to be questioned more though.

Misty knows if she ever admits what happened that she is going down or someone that she was messing around with that night is going down. Ron was at work and LE know that and have stated it. Ron isn't throwing her under any bus. If she had something to do with Haleigh's disappearance then she put herself under the bus. She just needs to get honest with her self and LE.
