Ron is in a bubble. They will sacrifice Misty but only if she supports RC when she speaks.

Factually, we have been given nothing concerning these two. We have come to the conclusion they are involved by their own actions and words. If people get offended, it doesn't matter because it is all about Haleigh not about these people who choose to protect themselves and not her.

I wish more reporters would do what Geraldo did. He asked questions that no one else would. We got to see how the family circles the wagons when their Ronald is about to get asked tough questions. I heard, "That's my son there".."Leave him alone".."Get out of here". They didn't like Geraldo picking on their little boy. Well, I don't like their little boy not being a man and making bad choices in life that may have cost his daughter her life.

What we are dealing with here is a bunch of people that have walked on eggshells all their life so they would not upset "Ronald"....and there lies the problem. He has been catered to and has an arrogance about him that rivals no one.

Ronald put on his big boy suit yesterday and told us nothing. He isn't going to question Misty despite what LE and the general public think. He actually thinks his opinion is more important than theirs. He will continue to do what he wants to do. He feels empowered and important now that he has an attorney who sits by his side.

From the moment, he turned 18, he started accumulating arrests. I would bet the ranch he has a BIG juvenile record....

Assault, reckless driving, drugs....didn't just start on his 18th birthday...IMO

maybe so.....if Geraldo thought that doing that would get the answers.... where has he been all these months? If he truly cared about Haleigh he wouldn't have given up or been chased away that easily.

It seems the Cummings/Sykes have been known to file lawsuits and sue. Geraldo most likely got threatened.

Elle, you've written alot to digest. Let me say that it is important to go over details that seem not to relate to this case in order to get a complete picture or feeling about the individuals. Whisperer may notice or relate to something, me to something else I personally have seen. You said you have not seen anyone say that Ron's prior drug use is a reason Haleigh is missing, well now you have. Ron's drug use is one of the reason's Haleigh is missing. His total disregard for his children and his interest in self is all wrapped up in this. His choice of caretaker is because he cannot find someone who has integrity and self esteem to share his life. He chooses another drug user to care for his most precious possessions. Ron's life choices make all the difference in this case and ultimately as I have said before, this is all on him. JMO

When you've been in a situation with an abusive partner toward yourself and your own children, as I have, you tend to acquire a glean of other's relationships. At least, in my case, that is what I experienced. The abuse comes in many forms but is felt by all members of the family, at every occurrence. It's a feeling in your gut that won't go away unless you're away from the person that's causing that feeling. We all know that RC's temper is about as long as a toothpick and I doubt he saved his fits for his foes/enemies.

This could explain RC's reluctance to answer questions with more information, expecially on the subject of MC. When RC and MC appeared on the Today Show, I think it was, MC was asked "do you agree there have been inconsistencies in your story" and ask "why". MC looks to RC for an answer and he doesn't even look her way. She has no choice but to answer "I don't know". This was a big red flag to me and that was a while ago. She looks to him for what to say.

For the life of me, when RC is on NG, I cannot understand why when she asks him things like, "What is she telling you" and he answers with "she's not telling me anything".......that NG doesn't come back with questions like......."Why isn't she telling you anything"? She's your wife, isn't she? You sleep next to her every night, why aren't you talking to each other about this in every minute detail? She's not asking him if he told TM that he's testing MC to see how well she can lie to the police regarding the headless rat incident. She's not asking him how he and his wife can even think about attending a "party" that weekend when his child is missing.

Somethings going on there, something went on that night and they both know exactly what that is. I've just got that gut feeling and it won't go away. IMO

I have thoughts of the river too. What are your thoughts on the dogs hitting on the dumpster?
Didn't LE take Ron down to the docks and ask him some questions? He had a white piece of paper. A list of some sort? Maybe they wanted to see his reaction.

I think that there is a chance that Haleigh might have been in the dumpster at one time. As I watched investigators taking out the stuff in the dumpster and laying it on the ground, sheesh....it looked like some of LE climbed right in and made themselves a home in there. Mind-boggling. I also remember LE walking down to the docks with RC and your idea that they were looking for a reaction out of him makes a lot of sense. I never looked at it that way. I would be interested in hearing what your thoughts are about the river as well.

Whisperer....I do not know who put Haleigh in the water. There could have been an accident and a cover up, If there is a shred of truth to LE's claims that she might not have been at the home and the wrong people knew that...well I think you see where I am going with that.

What concerns me is that the dog tracks started at the back door. That means to me that somebody in that house very recently within hours exited or entered the back door and the same scent went to the water and to Buffalo Bluff.

We know RC used that door because LE said he punched it and his print matches and there was blood.

You know, of all the darn places in the world to punch when you're DD goes missing, why the main piece of evidence???

Was Haleigh's scent in a car and it disappaited by the time it hit the HWY?

LE is very interested in HWY 17 at Buffalo Bluff and up to the San Mateo area. Seems to be only two areas they are concentrating on. One is the woods leading to the water and the other is Hoot Owl Ridge lane area up to San Mateo.

There is reason they are looking at these two areas solely. What could it be?

I notice they are not going South to Crescent City...where the van was supposed to be with Chelsea. They are heading a little north on Hwy 17.....

What is out there?

1. The convenience store
2. The road to and from PDM
3. Marvin Martin
4. RC's Aunt
5. a place where Nays car broke down...Rabbit Run and Hoot owl...Not confirmed though.

......What I don't know....did the Croslins live out that way at the time?

Baznme, first off, I'm so sorry you have experienced abuse. I hope you are on the way to healing.
When you say you have a way of knowing something is up because of what you went through, I believe you 100 percent. You are so right about Nancy's lack of follow up questions. She handles Ron with kid gloves but not so with Crystal. And, I think it is glaring to all of us who follow this case.

When you say you have a way of knowing something is up because of what you went through, I believe you 100 percent. You are so right about Nancy's lack of follow up questions. She handles Ron with kid gloves but not so with Crystal. And, I think it is glaring to all of us who follow this case.

Thank you but I stopped putting up with it in 1978. I lived with that for almost 12 years but it was for the sake of my children, I found the courage to walk away and take them with me. If MC is holding back for her husband, the only real chance she will have a real life from this point on is to realize that she won't always be seventeen and she won't always be able to live with the decisions she has made. The truth will surface more often in her mind than she ever thought it would and will haunt her at everything she tries to do. It would be a shame to throw the rest of her life away because she was afraid to tell the truth.

We know that LE continued to hold the trailer as a "crime scene" for quite some time after Haleigh went missing. Also, I can tell you that LE did take a jon boat into examine and released it after a short time. The boat did not belong to RC. It is rumored that RC might have taken the kids fishing over the previous weekend but I am hesitant to say that we ever received confirmation from LE that he did or that the boat was related to his fishing trip. There a quite a few threads on the trails that the tracking dogs took and things along those lines. If you'd like I could post those for you....or you may have read them already.

As far as the blankets go....anything is possible. Misty mentions the blankets often and there is a lot of speculation surrounding them. We know that LE continued to hold the trailer as a "crime scene" for quite some time after Haleigh went missing. Also, I can tell you that LE did take a jon boat into examine and released it after a short time. The boat did not belong to RC. It is rumored that RC might have taken the kids fishing over the previous weekend but I am hesitant to say that we ever received confirmation from LE that he did or that the boat was related to his fishing trip. If HaLeigh were put on a boat or in the river, I don't understand why the tracking dogs would have continued on. Wouldn't they have stopped at the river? I'm going to look for those threads about the dogs again.

Well, I heard Ron say that people were focused on what happened the weekend prior,so what is he talking about? I have heard they were fighting and they eventually made up, I have heard about heated phone calls between the two while she was out with her friends and having sex with that one guy, who admits it- I would say in any relationship, thats pretty problematic, I can see how that may cause a bit of "tension"

We really dont even know if he had the kids that weekend, maybe Annette had them, I mean if Haleigh had left a shirt there or whatever, I would say she had been there pretty recent, so I think first would be to find out if he had the kids that weekend-
