and I feel it's related. When I read the post I quoted, immediately came to mind the same questions. I also left a comment at the bottom of my post concerning Ron and a potential new job.

Because Flossie, It is one way to establish that he is a responsible and caring father and because he is now planning on asking others to send him money.
Probably the best thing for Ron would be occupied, meaning working and supporting Jr. Then maybe he wouldn't have so much time to think about guns.

He seems to have supported his children just fine for several years with no help from the bio-mom, I don't see why one would think it will be an issue now. I haven't heard he is asking for others to send him money. I also don't think he has "so much time to think about guns", I think those are just nasty rumors and gossip jmo

And yet, Flossie.........we have the sticky situation of his lawyer making a justification for the statement regarding the gun-in-mouth incident.

I'm not questioning your support of Ron, but just to expand on your post Flossie, could you throw a couple of reasons out there why Ron would be unable to work at this time? I can't come up with any reasonable ideas why he would be unable to take a job. Thanks.

Because az, if he gets a job, then the food stamps, welfare & unemployment compensation will cease & he won't be able to stay home & watch Jr.

Just an assumption on my part... no facts to back it up. I'm sure he's getting some type of state aid; otherwise, how could he live & support a child without some type of income coming in?

Check the blue book value on those 3 cars. They are worth less than $9,000 total for all three (and that is being GENEROUS). The 1985 vehicle isn't even listed in the online KBB.

You're acting like he has 3 brand new vehicles. One of them is 24 years. One of them is 14 years and the other is 9 years old. None are new or worth much of anything. Do you know if they all RUN?

I think Ron and his attorneys plan, to establish a Non-Profit fund to hire a PI to find HaLeigh is a wonderful idea. At least somebody will be actively searching, LE are at a dead end, I've yet to see any searches from the HBC Funds, so I'm baffled as to why anyone would condemn hiring a PI, I would imagine both the Cummings and Sheffields would be very much for this.

I trust Mowrey, Shoemaker and Beardsley to keep an excellent account of all Income and Expenses related to this fund. Can the same be said for Crystal and Marie's accounting?

I do not want to pick sides, I do not want to bash either parent, I just want someone actively searching for this beautiful little 6 year old child. To date LE don't appear to be any the wiser as to where she may or may not be.

I will glady donate to the fund once it's established, I pray that a 'private' investigator has a lot more luck than LE and will actually find Haleigh safe and sound.

I am sure Ron and his Mom will appreciate your generosity. They depend on it. Lord knows they have not made good use of the free help. One of them married it. They wanted Publicity to get her name out there. Well for six months, they didn't even come out of the house and refused to talk to police. Now, that money is on the table for stories, they are going this route.

It is the same as the Anthonys have...a place to keep your earnings and the public doesnt know how much you have and the Gov can't tax him. He and TN can put their money they make from TV etc. They can take out anything they want and buy anything they want claiming it is for the Search....no questions can be asked either. What does RC need with three cars? What does Anna Sykes need with three cars? Who knows how many TN has? None of these people have been out posting flyers in Satsuma. Ron and TN are going the Cindy George Anthony way...."give me money!"

Whisperer, I'm pretty sure after the uproar over the HBC Funds, Ron's attorney's WILL keep accurate records of all monies. Just my opinion though, I don't have anything to back it up.

I want to know why crystal doesn't have to work, or be looked at? From the age of 15 to 31 years old, I worked 40 to 70 hours a week supporting myself and family. Even family like cousins and babies of cousins. Ron has his life turned upside down, with a magnifying glass twenty four seven.

I think it's time to train that never ending camera and magnifier on Baker County down there, give some in putnam a breather. I'm sure the moment ron hires, in some caring poster will call in and get him fired on the spot.

Crystal has a young baby at home as well as other children to look after. She has also suffered from health problems/seizures. LE has most likely looked at her, and have apparently found nothing suspicious. She was hours away when Haleigh went missing.

Strangely he didn't seem to have a problem leaving his child around the very one who LE referred to as a POI in the case of his other child who is missing. JMO, but I highly doubt Ronald's reasons for not working have anything to do with not wanting to leave Junior. Granny would be there to watch him.

.....and yet, there are all these incidents where Ronald has obviously left Jr with someone other than himself, this latest being his quick trip to NYC for the Maury show. He then had his lawyer claim he couldn't appear on the Early Show (another scheduled event) because he had to rush back to take care of Jr.
