It is obvious LE has not been treating this as a stranger abduction but rather after ruling out RSO's and other peripheral people has had their focus on the family and inner circle for some time in this investigation. The PCSO Press Release (by Lt Johnny Greenwood) on Haleigh’s sixth Birthday which details their efforts does not characterize this as a stranger abduction.

Today marks Haleigh Cummings’ sixth birthday, and a little over six months into the investigation of her disappearance. Sheriff Hardy’s interest in the public’s desire to bring Haleigh home, have led him to release the following update on the investigation.

Investigators from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and investigators from agencies throughout Florida have invested thousands of man-hours into the investigation thus far.

Here are some of the facts:

* We have received in excess of 4,000 leads, all of which have been followed up.
* We have conducted 138 formal interviews and several hundred informal interviews with potential witnesses. DNA samples were collected from many of those interviewed and compared to evidence collected in the case.
* FDLE processed the crime scene. Many items of potential evidentiary value were collected and sent to FDLE’s crime lab for analysis (ie. for fingerprints and DNA). All of evidence has been examined and/or processed, but none of it has identified any suspect or additional leads as to who the suspect(s) may be.
* We have searched thousands of acres, including all property south of Highway 17 near the Cummings residence.
* We have had numerous underwater recovery and search teams search all of the water near the area of the disappearance.
* Aviation assets have conducted several airborne searches.
* K9 assets have searched the area on several occasions.
* Volunteer civilian searchers on foot and horseback searched the wooded areas near the residence.

At this point, the evidence and investigatory effort has minimized the likelihood that Haleigh’s disappearance is the work of a stranger.
.

He also stated Misty "continues to hold important answers," that she has "failed to provide any sort of detailed accounting" of the hours during the late evening and early morning of Haleigh’s disappearance, and that "physical evidence" at the scene contradicts her "sketchy account" of her evening activities.

TN has also been seen driving a red truck, as noted in the Cobra video where she led him into, then fled from, the woods.

I've seen a red truck mentioned several times on threads, but I must have missed what it's significance is to the case. Can someone enlighten me? TIA!

  • #523
Seems to be red trucks possibly involved with the case. I assume some are thinking maybe the perp was driving a red truck. They may have made the leap because in the very beginning there was a rumor that Haleigh may have been spotted in a red truck in Tennessee(?). Since Tommy got rid of a red truck, more suspicions rose, I'm sure. Then there is TN driving a red truck. We see Pics of RC sitting on a red truck and it is a fact GGMA owns a red truck....who really drives it, is up for grabs.

And you KNOW this because.........
Abducted out of her bed while she slept in her very own home provided for by her Father, Ron.
And why would you have someone scope your daughters bedroom?
I had someone scope my daughter's bedroom window out one night, in the wee hours of the morning. Caught and busted by my hubby.

  • #525
And you KNOW this because.........

I didn't have someone scope her room, they were caught doing it by my hubby. Sorry for the confusion.

I know this about Haleigh because that is what has happened.

I guess some must be privileged to some really top secret insider info bam which can refute everything which the combined forces and manpower of PCSO, FDLE, FBI, in excess of 4,000 leads, 138 formal interviews (plus hundreds more informal witness interviews), dna samples, lab analyses, fingerprints, phone records, both LE and TES searches of thousands of acres including K9, horseback, underwater, aviation searches and w/e else LE hasn't yet disclosed to the public have somehow led LE to NOT characterize this as a stranger abduction. (Better call in that tip quickly, LE should be very interested in hearing.)

BBM..Say what? Unless you, yourself, were there you don't know what really happened to Haleigh..Were you there? Do you have information that LE needs to solve this case and lead them to Haleigh?
And just because your hubby caught someone scoping out things around your house does not necessarily mean this is the same scenario where Haleigh is concerned.... JMO

no emerlgem. if you were following the convo, reading along, my post you quoted was in response to "Bams" post *524 here he made two quotes responding to me. I was answering to the two different statements he made and asked.

The first sentence has nothing to do with the last sentence in this post of mine you quoted. Go back and look please. However, I made a bad error in an earier post that I have now corrected which has nothing to do with your inquiry towards me.

I don't know any specific details personally about Haleigh and her home and I didn't have someone scope a bedroom window at night at my home. We found someone doing it.

I realize fully you weren't saying you were the one who had someone scope out a window but that you caught someone doing that.. But that does not mean that is what happened in Haleigh's case..

IMHO..I doubt seriously she was abducted by anyone... IMHO it should be as plain as any nose on any face that her father is the one responsible for whatever it is that happened to her and that Misty and his family have been covering for him for over eight months now...
And I MHO that is truly pathetic that they ALL chose to cover his rear and their involvement rather than honor the memory of Haleigh..JMO

one more time, please go back and read the posts from yesterday. Thats not what I'm saying. I promise. LOL I had two different statements quoted, which I replied to, and not once have I said someon was outside of Haleigh, misty's or anywhere on the outside of the mh looking through a window.

Dunno if he does read but he might. This is an open forum, people don't have to be members to read here, only in the downstairs areas.

If there was an unsolved crime in my family and people were busy discussing it on the internet I would be all over the discussion trying to look for any clues whenever I could bear it. And if there were twelve threads about me I'd get someone to find out what people are saying even if I couldn't.

Now there's a post to win friends with! I don't know what kind of class you're talking about but at the college I am affiliated with they teach innocent until PROVEN guilty.

Right but we also have freedom of speech and are allowed to hypothesize what may have happened to this child, otherwise, why would this message board be here?

We are all supposed to be here for this child, not to make friends-

jmo

If Ronald Cummings is involved and found guilty I will enjoy crow if I am wrong, because HaLeigh will be served justice. Welcome to WS, by the way.

Ron cried on Maury's show today. I hope everyone watches it. He is genuine and so is his mother- he wants his daughter back and doesn't know where Haleigh is. I think he married Misty to find out the truth and divorced her when he figured out Misty isn't capable of telling the facts as she knows them.

I must have missed the part where he talked about why he married Misty. I sure did pick up on the fact that neither he nor his mother mentioned Haleigh's name. I also noticed that it was more about the pain they're suffering.

But mostly, I missed the part where the word "genuine" could be used to describe the less than 5 minutes they were on the screen not mentioning "her" name, ever. Not once.
