It's called thinking the worst of someone that you don't care for. Just because we don't know how Ron was earning a living at one point doesn't mean that he was doing something illegal. Maybe we just don't know everything about Ron's life or what he was doing every day of the week every week of the year. I'm sure there are a lot that we don't know about each of the players in this situation. Just because we don't know every single thing about each one doesn't mean they must have been doing something wrong. All we know is what is in the news or on one of the shows. We aren't private investigators. We guess at most of the things we come up with...theorys, etc. We don't know the players or much about their lives.

No, I am not thinking the worst because I dont like Ron-

He didnt have a job for years before PDM, has been arrested a few times for some hard core drugs, and I heard out of his own mouth he was finally making an honest living, to me that says his life before PDM, he was not making an honest living- and he was so prosperous he didnt need child support- so if it walk like a duck, and looks like a duck, its not a monkey-

I prayed HaLeigh would be home with Ron for his birthday yesterday

Be of good cheer, that prayer was answered in someway. Maybe not like we imagine by Haleigh being returned, but in someway I know the Lord sent something in Ron's life that gave him a presence of Haleigh to comfort him due to your prayers.

I think Ron's criminal record establishes that he may dabble in something illegal from time to time. In real life, this is how a District Attorney decides on the integrity of a defendant, by viewing his criminal record. No one knows what he does from day to day. But on some days, he was sleeping and using an underage child for his pleasure and benefit. And on other days he was allowing that underage child to be the caregiver for his children, one with special needs while also knowing that said child was a drug user. From my vantage point these are horrific facts.

I hope if the Lord sent something to Ron's life in answer to Flossie's prayers it would be the impulse to tell the truth about the day Haleigh went missing so she can be laid to rest.

If he did hit the door it also could have been out of pure frustration. If my baby girl was missing I might even put my fist through a window. Anything to get rid of some of that frustration. In all honesty, I don't know how parents survive when their child is missing. You don't know who took them...what they are doing to them...where they are or if you will ever see them again. My imagination would drive me crazy. I don't know how they can stand it without destroying something on a daily basis.

When my daughter was murdered I wanted so badly to just walk outside and scream at the top of my lungs. I didn't though because I was afraid the neighbors would call the cops. A person really needs a release of some kind from all of the feelings/emotions that are making you feel like you could just explode.

I am so sorry .... I also lost my daughter (she was 10) and the anger is natural and frightening. I also was afraid of what others where thinking (IMO their concern)of me as I grieved and the emotional rollercoaster that I subjegated everyone too. It is my opinion that HaLeighs families know what has happened to HaLeigh and it is a game at this point to hide and seek. None of them act as if HaLeigh is being held by someone that will harm her or has harmed her. None of them act as if they are greiving the loss (death) of a child in MO, but, instead are acting as if she has been stolen and is being kept as a belonging or as property and for some reason there must be evidence to suggest this also to PCSO.

If past and present alleged connections to drugs equals not being able to have a child, then neither parent would be able to have HaLeigh imo.

Ron stepped up as a young man and cared for his two very young children basically on his own, I give him credit for that, he was basically a single Dad with no support from their bio-Mom, he did it because he loves his children.

Difference is, Ronald has an incredibly long arrest record associated with drugs and violence. Crystal said someone stole her car when in fact it was someone she knew who borrowed it and she was charged with filing a false claim.

Well, maybe not directly, but indirectly, Lisa Croslin thinks Ron was on something when he beat up her son and was arrested, and if anyone would know what someone looks like on drugs, it would be her-

Also, most crimes where people are arrested, more than not involve drugs as the catalyst-

Thank you for that. I thought since there was so much discussion about drugs today that perhaps there had been some new charges that I missed. I looked it up but I just wanted to be sure.

I hope that you are not suggesting that I believe anything that Lisa Croslin says about drugs. Well about anything really. She went from sitting beside her daughter lovingly holding her and wiping tears off her cheek to accusing her of knowing more than she's telling about what happened the night Haleigh went missing. I don't think Lisa Croslin would recognize the truth if it was written on the inside of a stolen checkbook.

I don't think there is ever a reason to resort to violence.

I think depending on who is telling the story of the night at AS house, matters as to what version we would hear. I prefer to take the word of the responding officer and I did not see it noted that either RC or Hankjr was under the influence of drugs. Oh, I read it, but I know they didn't do drug tests, so no one is really going to know either way- I actually believe Annette Sykes on this one and her account of Ron reaching in and beating on someone trying to leave- thats what he got charged for- Drugs or not, violence is never the answer-

I think the most recent issues with drugs were just allegations against Misty, Crystal, Ron, Lisa, Tommy and Joe. And the drugs found on the Griffis/Sheffield property during the search. Most recent actual drug arrest iirc was Chad Griffis. And of course the calls from Hank Sr about his medication. Quite a few I realize, I may have missed some

Really though, Maries stuff was like years and years ago, she obviously has a clean record now since shes driving a school bus- People can change, lots of people have been involved in drugs in their youth, you have a choice, change, or be a loser, it looks like Marie changed, I am not sure anyone of us are the same as we were 10 years ago, heck, maybe not even 5 years ago-

And if really they had so much to hide, why not go threw every vehicle on the land before you know the cops are coming, its not like it was a surprise raid- And I believe what was found was a pipe with residue, not a kilo of coke or anything, big difference-

It was in 1997 that she was charged w/
1997-07-28 POSSESSION OF CANNABIS, POSSESSION WITN
1997-07-28 1 INTENT TO SELL OR DELIVER, MAINTAINING A DRUG DWELLING,
1997-07-28 1 POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

So MG was 31. CS would have been about 12 , Sarah 9, I don't know how old her brother is, so I can't say about him.
