All I do know is the GR show was the worst thing that could have happened, because if RC's not, they'll always wonder and he has to live there after this. And the BioMom maybe didn't stop and think it could affect her and her family, also.Duh

FWIW, I think GR and the bio mom was very, very wrong to even open their respective mouths!!!

Why didn't they just say Haleigh was at school instead of making it some HUGE mystery when she was at school?! They are not going to confirm either way ANYTHING.

That is true and it's hard trying to figure out why they're not doing this the way we would like them to,but thank goodness we're only the sleuthers and they're doing the case.I wouldn't want thier job.

You are so right about that, SS. That probably is the case about the question that was just asked on HLN.

Oh,don't even get me started on that GR.

Do you think he would say he wasn't if he was not to get it out of the way, there's so much speculation. It would seem he would want to dispel it if it wasn't true.Especially, because if he was, then Jr might be in danger and LE would need to nip this in the bud before something else.

I would think that if RC isn't an informant, it would be best for LE to state that up front.

In every case, LE needs to hold some things close to the vest, but in this case they're going overboard with being secretive on such things like whether or not Haleigh attend school on Feb. 10th.

  • #686
It is ridiculous they are allowing room for speculation like they are on seemingly unimportant issues when they could just say yes or no. There is no real reason for it.

I don't know why people would see the possiblity of him being an informant as bad,to me informants are the ones that get lowlife dealers off the street and saving more people's lives.Because the case is open to any scenario we should still explore the possibility. And maybe he wasn't an informant but perceived to be and thus this happened as a warning to others. There is always some truth to most rumors.

Boy,isn't that the truth, because if we could get some things out of the way,we could focus on some others. The media keeps bringing this up,so this is why I was talking about it.

Well, it is always good to get lowlife dealers off the street, winterrose. It is just such a dangerous job. Your identity will be known in short order in a small town scenario and LE knows this. I could add something further, but I do not want to get in trouble.

And it is a fact that LE does not confirm or deny anything in this case. Well, except that the Tennessee cousin was not involved, or the A/C man, or the RSO. I believe that is the extent of what information that has been given.

The media is asking the same questions we are because they're not getting any information either. LE needs the media to keep Haleigh's name out there, and I would think it would help to give some information.

~bolded by always~

To law abiding people- this is very true.

To the person who is turned in, this is a very serious offense. It's called *breaking the code* code being the code of the street. No matter what- you don't turn in someone else to make your own situation better/easier.
It can be hard for normal, law abiding citizens to understand how dangerous this can be.

Last night on Greta, her reporter there in Satsuma, confirmed that DCF has been involved with RC at that address on Green Lane within the past year. The reporter pointed out that RC has only lived at that address for about 5 months, and that would mean that DCF has been involved sometime in the past 5 months. So the file is recent.

IRRC At one of the original press conferences a reporter asked about the fact that an underage girl was living with a 25 year old. LE's said something like... not going to deal with that now and then immediately after said something like but I will tell you... DCF has been at the house, or DCF is aware of the family... At the time I took his mention of it, in relation to the question that had been asked, that someone had complained and and that's why DCF was there within the last few months. But, of course, there could be other reasons DCF was there. But at the time that info was given out by LE that's what I remember it was in reference to.

You know, on second thought, wouldn't not confirming or denying it by LE actually cause there to be danger to Ronald rather than out and out denying it???

I will not continue to mention it, tho.

**Sorry for some of the missed letters on earlier posts. My keyboard is messing up. Gonna have to change it out or get on the laptop.

I think it would certainly be a reason for Geraldo to be thrown out. KWIM..
I personally think LE wishes the media would go away. I think they know exactly what they are dealing with.

Okay,at the risk of being slapped SS:slap::):) Is it possible that maybe he was being asked to be a witness in an upcoming trial?Maybe not an informant per say, but, maybe having to do w/past affiliations.

It is ridiculous. I wonder if a possible reason could be that that's an easy way to deflect the questions that would come from a denial. I think the follow up question to a flat out "No" would media asking "if he's not, then how did all these charges go away" and "how he did have custody" etc. etc. bla bla bla and then LE would have to take the time to explain away things they don't want to deal with or they feel aren't relevant to their investigation.
