I get that. I dont understand either. Just trying to give a heads up on this area of the country. Men still treat women as second class citizens. May be by RC is holding MC to silence.

I find it quite troubling that in the face of more evidence of Ronald Cummings violent/criminal behavior, so many continue to excuse and unrealistically explain away his continued disregard for the law and the safety of others. I sometimes wonder what that says about us as a society.

:applause: Well said Stilettos... O/T where have you been young lady we've missed you...

Well, I think we all want to see the good in people. But I for one, and my opinion only, sees Ron as a hothead. Whether he is guilty or not in Haleigh's disappearance, he has major issues to deal with. I have seen this many times before, and I have seen it with the way he reacts to situations.

That is exactly how I feel. I have seen it in my life and I want to be fair but he has a very controlling attitude with people in his life. Crystal, the children and now Misty. Who knows what type of respect he gives Mom and Gramma. Very big red flag for me. Something is wrong in the way he feels everyone should cater to him and his expectations.
He appears very mothered and spoiled not responsible for his own actions.
I am only going by all the facts we have read here. He has bully characteristics.

Well robbie - I took a long overdue vacation and break from this case. I have come back to renewed feelings of sadness as I feel that Ronald Cummings may have gotten away with a greater crime than he has been charged with recently.

Missed you too!:blowkiss:

OT: I guess most of us (at least me) didn't know that Florida was like this. It is quite surprising to see this. It is as if the north part of the state is very different than South Florida.

I like to look for the good in people too. However, I learned early that when you see crazy coming you cross to the other side of the street. When you see an abuser coming...you run like he77. The balance on my BS meter in giving this man a pass for the multitude of drug, assault and other charges in addition to what I believe is his abuse of women and possibly children has tipped way over......

Not all of FL is that way. My relatives live in Interlachen and Lawtey. Close to Satsuma. So far....three generations that side...they have managed to be law abiding citizens who do not assault people or sell or abuse drugs. There are people exactly as represented here in FL, AL, LA, GA, TX...well...all over the world. I just choose to steer clear.

I don't think it is just Florida. I think you can look at crimes and registered SO in many places and be totally shocked. I look at the arrests in my area and never knew there were so many. I looked at a map of RSO in my area and found it was many more that I thought would be there. I think we have just been looking at that area and found a lot. I remember there were a lot in the area where little Robert disappeared too. Ignorance is bliss, but with internet we find them and worry.
