yes, exactly. I've said before that IF RC did something to Haleigh before work (perhaps he lost his temper and hit her) that it could be possible for a child to die hours later from injuries sustained in a beating (concussion or internal injuries). In the case of concussion there would most likely be vomiting or seizures (loss of bladder control) - which would explain all the blanket washing.

anyhow he didn't have to be there at the time of death to be responsible for the death.

Thank you. I've suspected Ron's involvement for a while but couldn't quite put it together. You hit the nail on the head and tied up the loose ends of my theory for me.

BOLD by me: I heard something too.. I've only read this far, so I don't know if this has been discussed. I could not tell if it was coming from RON for sure, but misty darted her eyes to him really fast. It sounds to me like "Just Tell Her" , anyone else?

It sounded like someone off set honestly. I think Misty was caught off guard by it.

I agree with 1 and 3, but if anyone ever saw my oldest son, they would describe him like Ron is described in #2. My son always looks like he is angry to anyone who doesn't know him, he is ADHD and never stops moving and when he is sitting it's his legs(moving back and forth or jumping up and down). Now in Ron's case it may be his nerves showing, but I have seen cases where it is normal in some people. JMO
Agreed, and many people whom have gone undiagnosed ADHD begin adulthood with more auto accidents, more crimes as they do not usually weigh repercussions, and end up self medicating with alcohol and drugs (straight from my son's pediatrician's mouth).

Oh wow drumstick good call! I had forgotten about that lead in. Thank you for remembering it!

I have always wondered about that method of presenting a clip of information that is slanted a certain way (NG does that too at times) then cut to the very individuals that were "slapped around" (love your description).

I've always wondered if it is a technique to get a more lively response from the individual being interviewed.

I would imagine that since they were sitting in the studio with Meredith that there was a moniter that would have shown what was being played so that when it ended Meredith could pick up with the interview.

Hmmm, very interesting point!
and that lead in clip would have been played for the benefit of the studio audience (if they have one) and the crowd outside, so I imagine they saw it.

I just read the Eyes for Lies blog to get her take on the Today show appearance and then I watched the interview again. Very interesting.

I am dying to know what these two are hiding. I still don't believe they hurt Hayleigh but I agree with Lies, they know something. I just want to know what that is!!!!!!:banghead:

Sorry I am trying to post link and for some reason it is not working??

**Bolded By Me**

I noticed that too!!!!!!! She says something like "I went to bed....uhhh what time did" (like she was asking someone) then said..."I went to bed at 10 o clock"

Yes and at 6:28 she says "Junior was in the bed with me and I finally lay down and went to sleep at 10:00". That puts Junior in the bed with her but she hadn't gotten into bed yet!!!
Why didn't she say Junior was sleeping in my bed? But she says he was in the bed with her.

I have been focused on MC for the past couple of days on her thread. So I can't comment as to RC's behavior right now because I haven't given him the same intense study that I have been giving MC and will continue to give her until I think that I understand her to a certain extent as to her role in the disappearace.

But to answer your question Brwnigirl, why did she say ?

She lying.

Maybe she laid down with him just long enough for him to go to sleep which wouldn't be abnormal.

Maybe I am too jaded, but the fact that they made this appearance at all indicates to me that Haleigh is not coming back. Granted, it has been a month since she disappeared, but these folks are getting on with their lives...this is how I read this.

One thing I will say that rings in my head whenever I watch the two of them is Nancy Grace's saying "the truth never changes. A story may be embellished with time, but it's substance never changes." That is not the case here. The basic facts of the story are a moving target-I can imagine that law enforcement is just beside themselves trying to figure out what might have happened.

one thing I noticed too, around 4:47-4:48 on this copy of the interview, MV asks about JR stating a man in black took his sister,

Ron says.. it is some of the garbage that GR & CS "Made up",
then MV says, "so you don't believe he said it at all"

Ron looks up defiantly and says "I don't know, I was at work" (while trying to conceal a **** eatin grin), then he says, "I can't tell you honestly". (his whole body moves when he says this and his eyebrows raise and his jaw is stuck out).

so we hear the same ole same ole, "IDK, I was at work" his standard deflection, then "I can't tell you honestly". I'm sure he can't - for all anyone knows, he was home during his work hours and was picking Haleigh up and taking her away (dressed in black of course).

why else get such an attitude about a possible lead?

Isn't it curious that Crystal, through what she relays from Jr., supplies them with a ready-made alibi which dismisses the possibility that either of them removed Haleigh out of the house (at least as far as not being black goes) and they STILL choose to believe it's just garbage GR and Crystal made up........but this huge gaping WTF! is left: Why wouldn't they leap upon this as a possible clue, an insight from Jr as to what really happened that night? Why deny its' possibility totally????

IMHO He hasn't jumped on any possible clues due to the fact he knows what really happened... His EGO is run amok..His smirking arrogance has proven that.. He knows what happened and he thinks he has "pulled the wool" over LE 's eyes since they have stated they are satisfied with his answers on the LDT...How many times NOW has he claimed in that cocky manner that he passed?

Judging from the tone he denied it in on the Today Show, it sounded like he wanted to discredit Crystal. I believe he's got anger directed at Crystal for various things in the past and GR for the famous interview, and it annoys him that Crystal appeared on Geraldo's show. And maybe he thinks that if he manages to undermine her credibility and hint that she's a liar maybe it'll carry over to the custody hearings to come. If they honestly don't know who took Haleigh they may also suspect Crystal and do not want her possible cover-up story taken seriously, so as not to throw the investigation off the track (but if that's the case why throw it off the track by giving inconsistent information?).

One possibility is also that the LE has asked them to keep quiet about what JR has said. He might have said other useful things he didn't tell Crystal or Crystal didn't tell the world that they want to keep mum about. They may be afraid that JR could be in danger if it becomes widely known that he might possibly identify the abductor.

But if Misty and Ronald know what really happened instead of the black man in black breaking in, it may simply have been a kneejerk honest denial at first (no, that's not how it went!) before they had time to think that it would have been a useful scapegoat for themselves, and they've had to stick to denying it ever since, not to add to the growing list of inconsistent statements.

I don't understand why RC is so quick to discredit what Jr. said about the person who took his sissy. I feel everything should be taken seriously and investigated meticulously. I do recall that LE took Jr. into questioning that same morning? Before Crystal would of even had a chance to spew up this story? So, if Jr. really felt he saw anything or anyone LE would have a record of that correct? So Misty, Ron and whomever can say whatever, but from the way I understood it LE had spoken to Jr. already so they have the original story of what Jr. said but have not released it to the public.

IDK, it is curious. Maybe because of all the allegations waged by GR & CS, he feels if he takes this one bit of info serious, or acts as if it could be true then all of the other things CS said may be true as well. Better to just say she is lying about everything I guess.

But this one supports what he himself says, that someone came in and took Haleigh. His insistence that it is garbage and not to be believed pushes his own theory farther away when his own CHILD has made the statement, the only other person in that house that night.

I know, it isn't even rational for he and Misty to discount JR's story... especially if they BELIEVE she was abducted. Now, of course, if they don't believe she was abducted the entire topic is moot and maybe they just aren't smart enough to use it to Cover their butts?

guilty or innocent of any involvement I see no good reason to discount JR's story.

Yeah and Ronald said he didn't know if Junior said it or not - cause he, Ronald, was at work, so he stated on the Today show! LOL! Right - at work after the fact I guess.
