I would have to think if it was something serious or significant, though, Florida LE would go through a process with MA LE to get him back to FL.

Timmy isnt stupid, he prob has a habit and knows the LE would be breathing down his back.

For what it's worth, this is how I took Timmy's remark: He and Tommy were talking about how they believe their whole family was targeted (due to Haleigh). Timmy could have been saying he didn't feel any Croslin was safe in Putnam County and if he were to come back LE might get him too. I did not feel Timmy was implying LE might have a reason to arrest him, only that it might happen if the family was 'targeted.'

Well, it seems like Flora is a big liar, and a terrible grandparent. Chelsea also tried to get it out that Ron could have been involved, but got shut down. I am pretty sure the cops have cleared Chelsea Croslin, I am pretty sure the suspects in what happened to Haleigh are in jail, and I am pretty sure none of them would cover for Chelsea, they would nark her out until she was in jail, Misty does not love Chelsea more than her own freedom, and Ron is involved, and Chelesa would never cover for him ever. jmo

I have no doubt that Ron, TN and AS are all involved significantlly in this case. I do think Chelsea knows more than she is telling though. Some of her statements are like Misty's. She'll start to say something and then catch herself and then go down a different road with the story. There are some examples of this in the transcripts from the link I posted above.

Does anyone know where in MA Timmy and Chelsea live? I would like to check the jail logs there from time to time to see if either one gets into any kind of mischief.

Also, didn't Timmy do some time in prison in a state where he lived previously? I am not up to going back now to listen to all the Tommy/Timmy phone calls but IIRC there was a brief conversation about this between the two of them some time back. I'd like to check out what the charges were, if it is true. If anyone knows, TIA.

I wish we knew more about whether or not Timmy really took a poly, and if so, whether he really did fail. If he did, why isn't LE paying him more attention? Especially given the fact that Chelsea apparently knew the location of the dock that LE searched (before LE even knew). I believe that Timmy stated on one of the tapes that he and Chelsea couldn't come back to FL for fear of being arrested (that part I definitely remember), but he also said that Chelsea had been cleared but he had not (that's where I'm not 100%). Does that sound familiar to anyone?

If it was a misdemeanor charge, I doubt they would have given a LDT.

I thought Timmy and Chelsea leaving so soon was financial - no work - and LE going there and spending hours questioning them let them know they were still within reach. I don't remember Timmy saying C had been cleared but LE had stated nobody has been cleared. I think Chelsea is more outspoken than say, Lindsy. They all came up with conflicting stories - who stopped by the trailer that night, gracious, I think Lindsy ate two suppers that night.

Just rambling here, my biggest fear is LE never solving this crime and Haleigh not getting justice.

I have posted in the past and do still hold the belief that if Misty needed help in a big way she would call Timmy, not Tommy. I think that if Ron was instructing her to call for help in the cleanup it would be Timmy that he would agree with being called. Misty made it very clear during the Poly and LVA how close she is to Timmy and that he was also Ron's favorite. Chelsea has been abit too involved for a sister-in-law and very eager to get a story or rumor started. She is Timmy's alibi. The van was damaged while in her care. She first cast suspicion onto Joe. She is very, very close to Misty as well. She and Timmy took off to her relatives as soon as she delivered her baby. She squared off with GMF on the Nancy Grace show. Her appearance was considerably changed from the mother-to-be back in February 2009. Last but not least, she now has a permanent memorial tattoo of Haleigh on her foot, a child she did not know very long, a child not blood kin at all. Timmy is adamant that he will not return to Putnam County because he feels that he would be arrested. Too many things to tie Timmy and Chelsea to the Haleigh case. Misty would not give up Timmy. Tommy would not give up Timmy. Ron hasn't, so far, probably because Timmy could tell what Ron has done (JMO). Tommy could have been picked up by his brother to help out. So many possibilities here. And one more thing, I have never, never heard Teresa or Annette say a single thing about Timmy. Why not?

BBM--wouldn't surprise me either and have been hearing about someone with knowledge of Misty's phone records Perhaps they are with the President's football? :crazy: I still think Ron knew Misty from babysitting J**** and wonder if that was near Chelsea and Timmy's home. :waitasec:

Yeah, exactly... if you haven't been in contact how do you know she's a liar or crazy? If you do know it anyway, why would you call a liar and a crazy person you're not close to with important information about a missing child investigation?

I think Tommy was probably lieing about Timmy failing a LDT, unless LE offered one in that 14 hour interview, maybe. But, I don't think he would've agreed. He moved so far away, has stayed away, & I think he would avoid a LDT, like the plague. & you're right about LE not using LDT's, in non murder type cases. My daughter was involved in a family violence case with an ex bf, & she wanted to take one, to sort through the lies, & the he said she said crud. They looked at her like she had grown horns. But, there is some type of business, in the next town, that offers LDTs, for a fee. A friend of hers went with a bf, to find out if he was cheating. He was. (eye roll). So, maybe Timmy paid one of those places?

She laid on the tears thick! Told a sad story about the family, I mean this woman is a good actor. Very manipulative.

Needless to say, I'm a little suspicious of her. I've always been interested in interviewing her after she went on NG and was discussing the pills laying all over the trailer, but I'm not interested in talking with her or Timmy if they want money in exchange for the interview.

The truth always finds a way out......

I think those are the strongest theories, either Misty was partaking of drugs again after her 3-day binge and HaLeigh got into them while Misty was spaced out or, Misty lashed out in frustration and spite.

It was an unusual night, the first night back together with LOTS of friction between Misty and Ron. We don't need to add other players into the mix and make it complex. It is not.

It is as simple as an accidental O.D., with both caregivers being druggies or an un-intended death as an outcome of drugs --- e.g., overly vicious smack and a cover-up.

If true Misty would call Timmy and Chelsea for help and this is something they are more likely to unite and cover-up and support Misty/Ron on.

It makes me wonder by Chelsea's actions ... the tattoo, the anonymously providing tips to the dump site, calling into NG, talking about drugs laying everywhere .... whether Chelsea has more of a conscience than Misty and Ron and wants this to come out (safely) both to ease her conscience of guilt but also take the constant pressure off them -- which is literally destroying the extended family and keeping them in limbo.

It'd drive me crazy to watch my back everyday, check the news, see if something is coming down, etc --- it is a storm over their heads that haunts them and they are not free to move on and live life. In many ways it is worse than the actual punishment ..... like those on the run who are relieved to be caught and back in jail.
