I can. Crystal just hired a lawyer to take Rj away from Ronald. It would be exactly what another lawyer on his side would advise him to do...proceed with prior plans to go ahead with marrying Misty. If Crystal were going to use cohabitating with Misty against him...it resolves the issue. I would say Rj is worth it and Ronald needs to do whatever he can to protect his son even if it means looking like he is doing something sinister or wrong to the outside world. He is putting his children first...again.

Glad shes doing it! She should have more rights now!

Where does it say that she hired a lawyer to take RJ away from his father? I've read no such a thing! You dont even know if he has hired a lawyer yet. ANd its the first I've heard of it. I hope we get a link soon to support that they both have lawyers and its for the sole purpose of taking a child away from the other......besides that, could be at all possible she wants shared custody? Or could it be possible she wants another shot in the courts to re-look at how custody was granted to him over her? Jeesh!:furious:

The little boy from Ron home should be put in protective custody right now IMHO. No close family member should be allowed near that little boy..not sure of his name but sorry that child needs protection now.

I was a bit boggled by the urgent need to be married. The timing was off, but I didn't and don't see it as Haleigh is being thrown under a bus. I chalked it up to being right in line with some of the other behaviors that not only RC has exhibited but CS too, prior to and after Haleigh's disappearance. I saw it as not well thought out, impulsive and sundry other words that I could use to describe both sides of the families behavior but their behavior has been odd from the get-go. So I refrained from commenting.

After watching NG and listening to the new lawyer that CS has, and the fact that this new lawyer is going to file for custody of JR, I think I now understand the urgency of that marriage now.

It's about Jr. I'm not going to address the comments that the new lawyer for CS made about RC and Misty, because frankly I'm kind of tired tonight---and I'm so sick of the he did---she did in this case when it bears absolutely no reflection on what did happen to Haleigh.

IMHO both sides need to cut the carp and go find that baby girl.

This is really irresponsible.
I could care less if they get married, that's their business but
they could have squeezed months of airtime out of this to keep Haleighs' name in the media. Let folks forget abt her and if she gets taken into a place like a Dennys months from now, no one will recognize her or be looking for her.

I deleted that response, because I didnt see NG and I totally missed that she had a lawyer speaking for her now. So now I know and....Im glad. I think this attorney is smart enought to read in between the lines.

Not sure about protective custody, and not sure it will be a better place for the little boy. IMO, he has lots of family members to care for him & protect him. I totally disagree'd with her putting him on GR, but I totally support her going back into the court and having another shot at reclaiming her dignity. SHE is their mother. She should at least be afforded a chance at least to get shared/joint custody and not the standard. But something tells me since she now has an attorney to look into the documents and the surrounding situation now......she's got a fighting chance at the tables being totally turning around. MOO

as CS, remember the phrase a woman scorned...............CS was with RC for years and had 2 children with him, now 1 is missing and RC is marrying a girl he has been with for 6 months and the last person to see CS daughter...................CS might still have some feelings, listen to her talk about daddy......her hand on his back when he was on the ground crying.........RC went to CS and gave her an apolize for what happened. I still see feelings through a world of hostility. JMO

I am so dismayed about these last two weeks with Ronald and I am wondering why he was so angry when he came out of the courthouse,the day before yesterday,the big presser yesterday and tomorrow they're getting married.There has got to be a reason in these actions.If Haleigh miraculously shows up tomorrow,thank God,first of all,but then both children should be put in protective custody to determine what has happened.

I'm not so sure teh. When this modification would be brought before the court it will be shown that he is married. He is still employed as far as we know (I think the job may be being held for him?) and he will have a home.

OTH,

The parent petitioning for custody, does not have a job.

In my experience once this goes before the court, all the details of he said, she said go out the window and the best interest of the child is paramount.

I must say though, NG made an excellent point in that JR can't be taken away from RC because Haleigh disappeared while in his custody. She named quite a few cases of young children abducted and those parents didnt' have their rights terminated. I'm thinking she brought up E. Smart and Van Dam?

I disagree. It certainly WILL help since Crystal is living with her stepbrother and their child without being married. It will give Ronald the advantage on this particular issue.

Oh wow! Thanks for the link to that. Sounds like they are sending the door in to forensics to be anylized further.
