Just wondering will LE have to give Misty and Ron 'protection' so media and wierdos don't get them also? So more tax money and LE time will be wasted and not on the real case of finding Haleigh???? IMOO

Check it out found on another web site.

http://www.news4jax.com/news/18909733/detail.html

"PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- A sheriff's deputy arrived at the home of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings and removed the back door -- the same door that was found propped open the night the girl disappeared."

This maybe nickpicking and forgive me for saying it! TN sez in that article that lil Haleigh will be happy when she comes home ... maybe she is just so drained she doesnt even know what to think anymore. JMO, when lil Haleigh comes home, I think she will be tramautized!

TN also said that she never thought it would be this long........on TV while her husband was taking the tent down............

I disagree. It certainly WILL help since Crystal is living with her stepbrother and their child without being married. It will give Ronald the advantage on this particular issue.

Crystal & Chad are Legal adults.....and secondly, they are engaged themselves, have been and have been planning a wedding and put it on hold while they are dealing with this.

And so what, its legal and not all that uncommon. Lucky it it wasnt a half brother or cousin...now that would be something to get all flustered about.

If Haleigh were to come home tomorrow, I would say having Ronald and Misty married would make her feel more secure. She will have years of abandonment type issues. For Haleigh to know Misty is legally considered her stepmother would be beneficial in her recovery.

There is no doubt in my mind they would have a real wedding for Haleigh to share in after she is able to handle it.

It would not help Crystal if she ran out and got married at this point either. With all of the attention on this case, when they do get to court again, it's going to be a battle. The judge is going to look at everything...He is going to see when this marriage happened, and probably not fall for it. And he will look just as hard at Crystal and her actions.

I want what's best for the kids....if that's with Ron, then great. But right now both of these people have issues, they can't be overlooked.

Now, I know we disagree on this one....my offer stands, wanna wrestle while we wait for news? :blowkiss:

How long have Crystal and Chad been engaged ?

I truly hope Haleigh is found alive some day. But as many of us in the past have seen with these cases that is not the norm now. My reason to post that link is right today they took that same door that Misty said or was said propped open now by a concrete block. Something is up, LE needs that door for something or its linked to any other evidence they have already took.

I don't want to bust anyone bubble now but so much time has gone by now. Its just sicken to me how Haleigh's father and soon to be step mother has been acting from day one. It's like watching a train wreck that won't stop going now.

Last I checked, Chad wasn't within statutory rape age range. The titillation of saying "Stepbrother" makes me wonder whether the fact that they were never raised together in the same home is just unimportant for some.

Bolded by me

Well sure, since they're getting married to make her happy.

I see where you are coming from Law_girl, I really do.

But once this marriage takes place, Misty will be fully emancipated and legally an adult too. When the petition for modification comes before the court. They will only look at the fact that she is legally an adult and married to Haleigh's father.

If CS and Chad have not married before this goes to court, then the judge can only look at the fact she is unmarried, yet engaged. Legally she is single.

Legally, she has no job. How will she provide? I'm just trying to look at it from an unemotional vantage point in that I do have opinons of both parents. In my opinion, one is not better than the other.

I don't like any of them...p-e-r-i-o-d. I reserve all my strong emotions for Haleigh.

As always just my opinion:)

Why would they need to get married, because CS hired a lawyer to supposedly get custody of JR? I mean, it doesn't change the fact that he was shacked up with a minor for months including when Haleigh went missing. Is a rushed wedding going to make him look better? I just don't get it. I think it looks bad to many people. He went from calling her is dumb b*tch girfriend to marrying her in a month. :waitasec:
I just wanted to add too that Misty keeps saying it's what Haleigh wants ~ for them to be married. So what's the rush? Haleigh has been missing for one month and if you believe she is alive, can't the wedding wait until she returns home and can be part of it? I'm not buying Misty's reasoning at all and think it's just for show to make them look like responsible "parents" in relation to the pending custody battle Crystal is initiating. MOO

I think the lack of job and failure to provide child support are going to be CS' real stumbling blocks - unless she marries Chad and he has a good job. Does he work ?

And Chad has more recent drug charges than Ronald, and abuse of a minor child.

 It just gets better and better doesn't it? There is absolutely NO reason that I can think of for them to get married this quickly while Haleigh is still missing. It makes me quite sick actually and mad. Poor Haleigh. If they are doing this because Haleigh wanted it like they say, then why the h#ll aren't they waiting for her to return home? :furious:

I'm with you. It made me nauseous. This just reinforced my belief that his mom will justify every bad decision her son makes.
It makes me angry that they think we're so stupid. This wedding is all for Haleigh ? Refer to my avatar for my feelings on TN's video.

Somebody else might know if he works, I don't know myself. I haven't paid him a lot of attention.

In reference to the part of your post I bolded Shaymus, what say we place a wager? 1/2 dozen Krispey Kreme donuts that they do? Heh, we can log in and chow down together :D

I am already feeling sorry for whatever family court judge hears this...

I feel like it is a combination of things. I think Ron and Misty are trying to send a message to the world after all the mudslinging that they support each other and are united. I also think in their own way they are trying to do this for Haleigh, might not be the right time in alot of peoples eyes but right now I do not think Ronald cares what the public thinks of him. Those kids love Misty, Crystal even said that.
