Ronald Speaks from Jail #1

I caved in and broke my boycott of NG just to have the pleasure of watching Pat Brown. :thumb:

I only wish she had time to point out the red flags in the 911 call (starting with the "I just got home from work" being the opening sentence) as 911 call analysis/profiling indicates.

NG's judging by how intense his emotions were is very misguided, imo. Of course he was very upset that Haleigh was gone, but that doesn't mean he had nothing to hide.
After all, I don't think anyone believes he didn't want her anymore.

I can't remember any other case where she so adamently defended someone who has been arrested and is in jail. Normally they're already 'guilty'! :waitasec: MOO

I think that NG was so hard on Crystal, for so long, and so soft on RC, that she just can't admit that she was wrong, and has to save face. I can 't watch her anymore because of this...blood pressure probs, ya know. *wink*

Bothered by this quote from Teresa after her visit with Ron -

"Neves says the only thing Ronald asked for was chain with a cross. The Flagler County Detention Facility is very restrictive about what it lets inmates wear. Religious items are permitted. Ronald’s mother says Ronald has asked for the cross so he can keep God close to his heart."

OK - I apologize, but I'm not buying into his jailhouse conversion.

Why else would she include this bit about the gold cross necklace?

- Donated gold? [she can have her own Gold Party]

- Worse - a way for Ron to do himself in there in the Flagler County Jail. [After all, only God can judge me. And I'll go to my grave trying to make Mom happy.]

(sorry)

eta - Does Flagler County Jail allow any jewelry?

Ron just seems a little too resigned to go off to prison..somethings wrong here

ITA - just ain't copacetic. [AKA too much HINK]

ETA -

krt, those drug charges can be pleaded down. Way down, IMO. I doubt there is some Mexican or Miami cartel involved, so I don't believe he's scared of ratting out whoever he got the pills from.

I keep thinking about how different Ron's voice sounded a year ago from the way it sounds now on these interviews. Why would someone's voice change so much? There is a world of difference in his Miz Nancy days which wasn't so long ago, to the way he sounds now.

Ok, hold the phone.....this 18 year old accused drug dealer has FOOD STAMPS????????

It doesn't sound like the same person, does it? I was quite baffled by it. But then again, RC never really conversed that much in previous interviews. He just kept repeating the same mantra, I was at werk, I'm going to kill whoever did this.

So, you don't think we will get to see Nancy's AHA moment on her show? Wow, that's a bummer.

I think we saw it last night when she heard what Pat Brown had to say, or at least as much of an AHA moment as we're going to get from Nancy. I know Pat has stated her beliefs before on HLN, but I believe it was on Mike or JVM's show.

I'm sure they all do. Playing the system for all they can get. The food stamps are often sold for cash, the cash is then used to buy drugs for themselves or to sell to others for a nice profit. Outrageous that this is allowed to happen, but it is a way of life for these lowlife s...b...

:yow: So, if Pat Brown has got him pegged (love her - she's from here), and WE'VE got him pegged................how come Nancy is buffaloed by Ronald :tipsy: Cummings???? After years of facing "dope dealers, drug pushers..." in court herself, surely Nancy is a better judge of character than this?????

jmo

It's mind boggling, isn't it? I do wonder if perhaps Nancy could have been an Amber, Crystal or Misty herself.

There have been reports of Misty being seen at the bus stop with Jr. recently. I have to wonder why Nancy hasn't questioned Ron's continued poor judgment in entrusting his children with Misty.

Kim, thanks for leaving this thread open. Some of us (moi) can't get back to the computer to comment on NG until the next morning.

...and I mean I know he's been in jail for like a whole 72 hours or something but since when does RC talk CWG (Countrified-Wannabe-Gangsta) that is not how he spoke during any of the interviews we've seen :waitasec: Oh woops I forgot he's not in GP he's in PC... guess he picked it up by osmosis or is this just a side of him we're finally glimpsing...

:parrot:
That's EXACTLY what I was thinking! He is trying to sound all "street", "down", and "gangsta"! I kept thinking,"Whose voice IS this??" I'll bet he's skeered!!!

I guess the gangsta voice goes along with the "bop" walk that we saw him emulate when he was released from jail the last time. This must be part of his persona reserved for when he is in jail. I don't think that it will help him much when he leans over to pick up the soap.

Ron denied he had anything to do with Misty getting a tattoo and I was aghast when the reporter after hearing Ron's side of the story thanked him for clearing up the matter. The reporter doesn't have the right to resolve this discrepancy based only on what Ronald has to say.
Oh, I am QUITE sure that the reporter was laughing up his sleeve, so to speak. he was just telling ol' Ron what ol' Ron wants to hear, making him feel in control and important. Remember, a reporter will do almost anything to get that story; that's their job. "Thanking" Ron surely made RC feel like he was being treated well, and thats EXACTLY what the reporter intended; same reason homicide detectives try to get confessions by saying to the suspect,"Hey, man, I know you're not a bad guy, we all lose control at some point...now just go on and tell me how you committed the murder"...
HA HA!

I am not alone! Before this post, this was me :waitasec: and now..:woohoo: validation that I am not losing it nor are my ears! I'm still ME!:mears:

RR!

Did anyone pick up on rc alluding to more than one person taking Haleigh? He started with two people and then said two/three people.

Maybe because Junior said he saw multiple men in black, and later Misty said she saw 4 men, but it was a dream. I also don't think a 4 year old child could keep up the coverup, if there is one. They must have questioned him right away.
