So how did Ron know his daughter had not been taken out of the house 1 minute before he got home?

Time is wasting Ron, the perp might have Haleigh walking down a side road right now 1/2 block from his house get out there boy. Why was he crying on the phone at that time when he could have been out finding her? He already instructed Misty to call 911.

How did Ron know the perp was not 100 feet from him walking away with Haleigh at the time he was calling 911?

There are links in the links thread, I believe to the custody docs, CS admitted she used cocaine while preg. w/ Jr. I posted the court record of MG's drug convictions in a thread a couple days ago, not sure which one. There are also links to Chad Gs. drug history. And links to RC's arrest records are here somewhere. The only thing that that has been connected to drugs since Haleigh went missing IIRC is the drug paraphanalia found on the Griffis property during the search.

Hi curvecuti!

Thank you, I know that Crystal has admitted to using drugs in the past, my question was a recent document or evidence. Jr is older than three so in reality we are not talking about a recent instance of use. Again, I truly just want to be as respectful as I possibly can, but if those of us here on the forum that support Ronald and detest the constant barrage of accusatory posts relating to his past truly wish to focus on keeping with the current evidence and facts related to Haleigh's disappearance, I can't see any reason to hold Crystal to a lesser or greater standard.

It truly does not serve Ronald or Haleigh to post a positive comment in this thread in support of Ronald if we follow that up with a disparaging remark about Crystal. There is no score pad here about who is the better parent. Department of Children and Family Services will release a ruling soon( I hope) and I hope with those findings this constant back and forth will dwindle off. All of this takes away from the investigation, in my opinion.
In all honesty I am beginning to wonder what end result people are hoping to see here, Haleigh found and brought home, or the character assassination of her Mother and Father. :twocents: :truce:

Do you think that our views about either parent or our posts are gong to change someone else's feelings? lol...I gave up on that so long ago. We all seem pretty certain about all of our differences and I just wish we could focus on facts that we agree on. <3 <3

I would bet anything this is a question the police have asked Ron and if someone would ask him to this day the same question he would refer it to his lawyer.

How did you know Ron the perp was not 100 feet from you walking away with Haleigh at the time you were calling 911?

I agree elle, really I do. It's just that to me it seems CS always gets a pass and she is held up as the perfect parent here. IMO. While RC gets accused of everything from murdering Haleigh to being gay. It's hard, hard for me to sit on my hands. I think CS is a good person and I do think she has been beaten down in life, but I don't think it was by RC. I think she has been pushed to do things she really had no interest in, just for the sake of others spite. I also think RC is a good person that adored his daughter. They both have flaws and short comings, we all do, it doesn't mean either of them kiiled or is responsible for Haleigh's disappearance. IMO. I will start implementing my ignore feature fulltime since I can not control my hands. :blushing: Thank you for your heartfelt post!

I know, I truly do. You know what I have realized though. Unless someone really and truly has the view that Crystal Sheffield/Ronald Cummings is responsible for Haleigh's disappearance and has developed a theory that is based on factual information or concrete evidence there is no reason to offer up their negative actions or less than shining moments while trying to investigate where their missing daughter is. I enjoy reading posts that give me information that I didn't know, whether it favors/disfavors either Ronald or Crystal, because any information that is uncovered has the potential of affecting the outcome of this case.

It just seems recently that there is less and less discussion of the new factual information and investigative efforts and more focus on the shortcomings and transgressions of these two parents. Like I said there isn't a scoreboard and if there was there wouldn't be enough chalk to keep up in these threads because frankly, who is perfect?

DCF will make their ruling and another investigation will be closed and I will respect their findings just as much if they find JR should be removed from His father's care. They found in favor of Ronald in the past and their findings in the future should not be considered anything less than thorough. The circumstances are what they are and I just want to add one additional thought. Regardless of what we think is best for Junior and regardless of where we feel he should be, Ronald is his father and he has custody. Where would Junior be if Ronald was a neglectful father that cared not about the welfare of his child? What if DCF did remove RJ from his fathers care...would Crystal automatically accept and be granted custody of Junior? I don't think she would. I think Junior might be placed in another family members care until the reasons for the findings of the recent court ruling could be explored and the best interests of the child can be achieved.

These children remain in my prayers.

Junior is already without a sister and we have yet to learn who is responsible for that. If DCF produces findings that Junior should be removed from his father's care where would Junior be placed? If anyone knows. TIA

He has a mom, lets not cheapen her or pretend she does not exist and would not be the first option no matter how despicable some may find her- I thought the assassination of the parents was being pleaded to be stopped, and now this?

I think, and pray, that he will stay with his Dad. I don't believe he would be placed with his bio-Mom, JMO

Please don't put words in my mouth, for goodness sakes. I do not find Crystal despicable and if you took the time to read my posts you would not accuse me of such. I understand full well that Junior has a mother. I follow this case very closely. Why do you assume the worst?

If DCF produces a founded claim against Ronald in conclusion of their investigation into the gun incident I have my doubts that they would remove Ronald from the home and drop him off on Crystal's doorstep. Is this normal procedure? Look, every time I ask a question I am asking because I am looking for an intelligent response or answer to the question. I was hoping there might have been some kind of past precedence established in like cases. Ronald was awarded custody in a court of law, was there a reason why Crystal was NOT awarded custody and would Department of Children and Family Services investigate her home and her day to day circumstances before they would place Junior there full time. That was my question. To be clear, I think Crystal is perfectly capable of caring for Junior. But I am not DCF and I have no idea what their investigations into allegations consists of.

If Jr. is removed from Ron I don't think for a minute Crystal will be the first choice. This is often a mistake by some. Especially being the courts didn't give her custody, DCF will likely not recommend it either, and they will use these facts in seeking another home for Jr. More likely than not, if they rule out the bio mom to have custody, Jr. will stay on the Cummings side of the family with probably a grandparent. People need to understand this that has such high hopes Jr. will be removed from Ron all together.

Yeah, he would go to his mom, there shouldnt be an issue, I mean are her visits ever supervised by the state or something, or do we now start talking about how she shouldn't get her kids because a Judge did not award her full custody? I feel so sorry for crystal that on top of having the horror of a missing child, she has so many perfect people and mothers tearing her apart, I am willing to just say, yeah, she may not have been a stellar mom, but she didnt cause this child to go missing and is brutalized enough by the loss of her child, I find it scary that dosent seem enough for some people-

I am amazed at D.E's for thinking he is harmless and that most men behave like he did on the 911 or thereafter. We got a glimpse into his character....just a little...and that was enough. RC is a wimp, a wimp who needs to have a gun to prove he is a man. He uses the gun to intimidate people ....imo.

How does anyone know that the rat was not a pet or purchased at a store? How many people have dead rats just lying around? How many people can just catch a rat and then chop it's head off? Sorry but the thought that this was humorous totally passed me by. Putting the guts of a pumpkin is a far cry from intimidating a witness with a headless rat...

Putting a dead rat in the mailbox is serious when the person who resides at the address is a witness in your upcoming case. RC has a serious problem..IMO. I have seen many like him behind bars, where they belong. He will NEVER be w/o a gun, I can pretty much say this safely. He uses guns to scare people and is one very unstable male....IMO.

.....simply astonishing that some do not see him and his behavior as trouble! Harmless would not be an adjective I would use to describe Ron Cummings. Combining wimphood with instability and loaded guns creates a dangerous situation.

We see him "in check" at the moment because he is a "bubble" provided by his mommy and Granny and several attorneys. If RC were left on his own, we would be witnessing many problems with the law...IMO.

(bbm) Agree. The humor escaped me too. And I haven't even dealt professionally w violent criminals for years. I've known a violent man or two tho or thought I did; and worked a Suicide Prevention hotline and someone putting a gun in their mouth and threatening to blow themselves and/or others away, is having more than depression or 'emotional issues' they have an anger management problem--bigtime--and if there are ever unsafe weapons around, they're also endangering their children. Maybe Misty will get Jr. The kids loved her and she was the best woman Ron ever had.

I agree with you, she was not involved in her child's disappearance. I do not feel she needs to be supervised while with her children. Please do not quote a post that I wrote and completely misrepresent my point of view. I have not said any of the things that you wrote. I tried to ask a question about what would happen to Junior if DCF removed him from the care of his father. It was an honest question. I am very sorry that I couldn't make myself clear enough in my earlier post.

Daily, I provide my opinions on this forum, while I have considered many different theories, my opinion has never changed. Ronald and Crystal have my support and prayers.

Sadly, some would rather put Junior with Misty it seems just to punish Crystal-

Its so sad-
