Never said LE used CS residence to clear her of suspicion. I insinuated it is a reason not to include her on the top of the list. Misty and Ron hold that place and should. Misty and Ron need to be officially cleared....they haven't....must be a reason. They need to be cleared before anyone else. That is where you start with a case.

We have TN who hired a Defense Attorney; We have Misty who hired a Defense Attorney and we have RC. How many innocent fathers of missing children have a Defense Attorney?:waitasec:

We have started with Misty and Ron and will remain there with them as the focus till they are officially cleared. If Ron was officially cleared ,he would have no need for Shoemaker. I rest my case.

I am not going to argue why Ronald would need a defense attorney either. It is clear that there are many extenuating circumstances in this case and what I think about his decision doesn't matter. He was a police chief of a town here in NC not too far from me. It's a very small town, the population is under 4000 I'm sure. He has alot of Criminal Justice degrees and teaches at the Community Colleges. He may live in Florida now, but as far as I know he has NO connection to Satsuma nor Haleigh's case.

Thank you for your input on that. My post was not intended to indicate that LE was from Putnam County. Simply that an LE representative was on the show. Do you remember what questions or any kind of responses he referred to whilst on the show?

Thank you, I was mistaken into thinking it was the PCSO, which I feel would be inappropriate of them, glad to know it wasnt. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I guess LE could speak to techniques and give opinions, but doesn't have inside information about the investigation.

I may be mistaken but I think CS filed a DV order against RC but then dropped it when they went to court. I have never seen a DV order against CS. I think Chad's ex-wife had one against him involving the kids, maybe it got mixed up and someone thought it was CS instead of Chad. IDK.

here is the video of Mark NeJame and the press conference he held to announce that TES was going back to help. I listened to the whole video and Mark NeJame specifically states he is not representing anyone individually except maybe Teresa AS AN ADVOCATE,

Thank you for that. I have gone back and deleted that statement from my earlier posts. I will not assume that everything hear at WS is fact based. However, when the poster gave that info it was in the very early days of this case. I guess there are times when things slip through unnoticed, anyway, I removed the statement.

Teresa hired Mark Nejame. She stated her reason was to find Haleigh. I take that with a box of salt. People don't hire Defense Attorneys to look for missing children...just as grieving, cleared by LE. innocent fathers, don't need to retain Defense Attorneys either.

ya know, I hadn't really thought in depth about the attys until it was being discussed in here lately. I had to ask myself if my child was abducted or missing and I was desperate for answers and help who would I go to? I would go to the District Atty. He/she represents the people and would help me put things in order to resolve the case! Then I also thought about this, attys are like doctors, they all specialize. So why would Ron get a criminal defense atty? The obvious reason, would be because he is guilty of something. Its hard to rationalize the obvious. Just an opinion.

Actually that is just a DV order that was dropped, it did not involve DV against a child. There was a DV order involving children filed against Chad G. and I think someone may have mixed it up and thought it was CS, especially since they live at the same address.

Thank you so much for that clarification Curve, Anyone who is interested in looking at the DV against a child charge can find it up in the stickies. As I looked last night I realized that the original poster might have seen the DV order and made a very honest mistake. There was an order against Chad Griffis, but to my knowledge I think it was dismissed. : )

It was a Protection Against Domestic Violence with Minor Children taken out by Chad's ex, Helen in 2006 and yes, it was dismissed AFTER 2 years.
