WS was FIRST to discuss RB and her "credentials", and her serial killer "husband" ... Besides here, the only other place I saw RB mentioned was on NG's show last week (of course, I watch very little MSM news since I have found WS :great.

My "guess" and vote is we will never see her again. I think the DT "thought" they could try to keep RB "low profile". But when her "real identity" came out that ICA's DT had "this particular mitigation specialist" on board -- they did NOT want the Jury to find this out !

Good Lord, could you just imagine the "reaction of the Jury" if they find out "ICA's mitigation specialist" is married to a SK who killed 3 women ?

It's not going to take the Jury long to figure out the DT is NOT "playing with a full deck" ... add to it RB married to a SK

I read several articles that indicated that she is very good at what she does and that she was "credited" with keeping several people from a death sentence. She's probably working behind the scenes, but I don't think we'll see her, she'll handle things "remotely". MOO.

So my question is this : IF RB does show up at the trial at some point, the Jury "will be curious" as to "who" she is because they will see RB having contact with ICA and the DT, and will "assume" she is just another attorney.

What is more frustrating is that the Jury will NOT know "who" she REALLY IS !!! :maddening:

I voted we will not see her again, but I think she is still working on the mitigation phase of the trial and will watch the trial via the internet. I think she is the one on the DT who ICA has talked to about her "childhood of abuse" and growing up, etc., etc. I think they brought someone in who they felt ICA would "bond" with, and they did appear to be very buddy-buddy during the time she was in the court room during jury selection, chatting up a storm during breaks, etc.. Someone has to be working on the mitigation issues, as I truly believe the DT knows ICA will be convicted of something. I did not read the links about her qualifications, but it appears she may have some re: mitigation from what I have read people post here. Just another one of the truly bizarre things that happened during the pre-trial hearings and jury selection, with more I am sure to come in the trial. She did provide me some amusement as I cracked up watching her from "behind" during jury selection, right in front of the camera. Although the reality of all of this starting tomorrow is very sobering to me, can't wait for opening statements from the DT, I imagine we already suspect the "aha" moments as things have been leaked right and left, don't think I will hear something from them I haven't already heard, but who knows with this particular DT group???

I honestly feel very sorry for the jury. This murder is something that will affect their lives forever. This is not going to be something they can erase from their psyche, and if RB does come in during trial and they find out who she is afterward....??? Well, bless their hearts because that's a very bitter pill to swallow, IMO.

IMHO I don't think we'll see her again. It would be a horrible move on the DT's part. While she's not high profile, just the thought of having her there next to the defendant is so very unsettling. What if 1 juror found out who she was? It could really mess things up.

I don't know what idiot hired her to begin with but they came to their senses and got rid of her immediately when they saw the fallout. Sometimes I wonder if there is something in the water that the defense is drinking. Letting KC cut bangs is another blunder and they can say we didn't expect that but THEY SHOULD be talking to her about EVERYTHING.

I think RB was that person that JB tried to keep secret - that hearing a few weeks before jury selection when he petitioned for an unknown "mitigation expert" to be kept anonymous. We were all wondering if it was some kind of psychiatrist or something and why the name should be kept out of the record. Obviously he didn't want a potential jury pool to have a head's up on this person because the first time she appeared was at jury selection and that very night (even if we hadn't sleuthed the living shingles out of her background) there was NG reporting about her status over and over on her show. They may have used her to take over as a local when Ms. Barrett ended her assignment of interviewing ICA for hundreds of hours on end and compiled her report. As an "investigator" she very well may have been digging up dirt on GA for the mitigation phase. Certainly the aggressive nature of that mitigation phase did not appear until recently. JB has used a variety of sleazy strong-arm type investigators from that JL guy on, in regards to RK and the TES volunteers LB and JJ, and I think that, instead of coming up with normal mitigating factors, they have been tasked with finding the kind of dirt on others that J Edgar Hoover would have admired. The kind of "mitigation" that is not limited to creating sympathy for a defendant but to actively tossing others under the bus as potential suspects. After the overwhelmingly negative reaction the media gave to RB while she was babysitting ICA during jury selection, they have chosen perhaps to keep her away, or at least very low profile for awhile. The fact that the jury is from Pinellas, which is right next to Hillsborough County where RB was fired from the public defender's office, would make her recognition likely in of itself, much less the fact she received a lot of press statewide for her absurd marriage to a serial killer.

Bringing her out during jury selection was the trial balloon. If she made past inquiring minds at jury selection then maybe she could be there in trial but since she has been outed don't think we will see her in guilt phase.

I would like to view her "verification of mediation specialist" approved by the State of Florida as well as her experience and Certification as a Private Investigator approved by the State of Florida. Maybe she and DC went to the same classes.

What I find funny is that JB was all "HA - gotcha!" when the one PJ was outed for his DUI, but at the same time figured none of the "idiot bloggers" or other people would figure out who RB was.

I think she'll remain in the background, unseen, IMO.

O/T: JB admitted today he quit school in the ninth grade. Isn't that illegal? How can a kid, age 14 or so, quit school? Or did he fail a grade or two as well?

A visit to iClerk, Florida licensing boards and some good Google keyword searches will shed light elsewhere with him, too.
An online radio show I was listening to last night pointed out that if RB is being paid, it may have been such a short visit because the defense has little money for mitigation and has to account for every penny. She may not have been providing service pro bono? Someone else indicated she had something happening in her personal life that required her absense for a day or two, so maybe, like Schwartzenegger (and about as anticipated these days) she'll be back.
