Regardless, I just hope he doesn't revert back to his addictions. I have always been a fan of his,- her... not so much.

I hope for his sake this is an amicable and mutual dissolution of their marriage. He does make me laugh and I enjoy hearing him speak, but aside from his public personnae I think he is an extremely gifted, intelligent, and eloquent person. I hope this doesn't put him into a spiral considering his bipolar diagnosis and addiction history. I'm not a fan of Katy Perry's, but I was kind of rooting for this marriage. I thought perhaps it would help provide him with support, structure and a break from being "on" all of the time. But then again, Hollywood marriage seems to be a whole different animal.....

Yes, he is highly intelligent. I was very happy to see him willing to settle down as well. I hope there will be a next time for him and he isn't soured on the whole marriage thing.
