Does anyone really care about the opinion of a cousin of our Vice President? Not sure how or why that is news. Reminds me of the Megan Markle family battles in the press.
He is fighting in the Ukraine war so I think it's relevant!

Most of our values are much higher here on this subject than entertainment stories of MM.

The United States is leading with diplomacy. Ukraine can reject all of it if they choose. I’m not sure what that leaves for Ukraine other than never-ending war in that region of the world.

imo
I'm really interested in your views of Putin invading Alaska.

Pretty Pathetic Europe hasn't stepped up to fund it's own defense and even to this day relies on the United States taxpayer to do so.

What would you suggest?

I'd definitely prefer to hear the cousin's opinion vs the VP's ;)
I'll tell you what I suggest...Take Trump's lead and negotiate a settlement to end the war.

Otherwise, Europe gets to 1. Fund it 2. Supply it 3. Own it.

I have a feeling the U.S. isn't writing 50 billion dollar checks anymore.

Yeah it won't end well for us Americans. Trump's fault though
Time will tell. Trump isn't the fool the Europeans think he is. Name calling, belittlement, accusations, he's used to it :)

How would you envisage a settlement working? Especially if Putin isn't one to keep to agreements JMO?

Incidentally, Poland is currently paying the US 50 million dollars for Ukraine's Starlink MOO

Also that article linked from the George Bush Centre earlier showed that easing support off from Ukraine would actually cost the US more

"It’s also worth noting that nearly 70% of total Ukraine assistance is spent in the United States or on U.S. forces, according to a study by the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). That creates jobs for Americans while also helping Ukraine and helping to rebuild our atrophied defense industrial base. Moreover, a different AEI study found that ceasing our support for Ukraine will be much more costly for the United States in the long run – to the tune of an additional $800 billion in defense spending if Russia overruns Ukraine."

Felony convictions by a jury of his peers. Impeachments. Takes a LOT to be convicted of felonies and there were over 30, lieing etc. fraud. Not fit. No matter.

Well that’s called consequences for actions, about time the US got used to being held accountable for their presidents actions that are intentionally causing chaotic disruption around the world.

I have a question - do you support the US cutting off aid to Ukraine because you think you will see any of that money as a refund to you on your taxes? This is a genuine question, I’m not trying to be snarky or rude. I just keep seeing the Trump supporters on this thread post about how happy they are that the US won’t be sending any more money and it just makes me curious about what the “end game” here is for you.

Do you anticipate a refund or a bigger tax break next year if we aren’t sending them aid anymore? All the money we’ve sent them for the past 3 years was voted on and approved by Congress. A large part of the aid we send is literally our old military equipment that we aren’t using anymore, it actually saves us money from having to store or dispose of it. So I guess I just want to know what you as an individual expect to gain from the US not sending any more aid to one of our allies?

How do you envision the war continuing?
As it was before Trump started behaving like Putin! MOO Ukraine were doing quite well. Of course they want the war to end, but they want Putin out of their country. MOO

Tomorrow (or rather, later today) will be an interesting day IMO. I cannot see how the talks can progress this time, if they didn't last time. Whilst Zelensky is saying they would agree to a truce, Ukraine is still wanting security assurances. Europe has offered a peacekeeping force. Trump might agree to that. But Putin most certainly won't. So then the deal fails again. JMO I hope Ukraine is prepared to continue without US backing if the deal puts the Ukrainian people at risk. MOO

Oh my, I do think those of us here in the U.S. will survive :)
Trump is already hinting at a recession and the stock market dropped 1,000 points. Egg prices continue to stay high. I'd say people here are fed up already.
