Incidentally, Saudia Arabia is 3 hours ahead of Uk time, so I'm guessing we'll hear something about the talks by about 2pm tomorrow Uk time. Unless they continue for a few days ......... MOO

The United States is leading with diplomacy. Ukraine can reject all of it if they choose. I’m not sure what that leaves for Ukraine other than never-ending war in that region of the world.

imo
Not sure much of the world would agree that about The United States tbh. Not to Uk or Ukraine at least.

Facts rather than accusations! He has come out with a load of untrue, negative propaganda against Ukraine, which has all been fact checked. He's alienating long standing allies and countries and got pally with Russia. Whose interests is that in? JMO
MMM Russia, putin??? Then to him that means he thinks he's getting something realllllllllly bigly.

Trump is already hinting at a recession and the stock market dropped 1,000 points. Egg prices continue to stay high. I'd say people here are fed up already.
I believe the stock market dropped BECAUSE of Trump's tariffs! JMO

US stocks plunged on Monday as fears grew over an economic slowdown, after President Donald Trump did not rule out his tariffs triggering a recession.

I'll tell you what I suggest...Take Trump's lead and negotiate a settlement to end the war.

Otherwise, Europe gets to 1. Fund it 2. Supply it 3. Own it.

I have a feeling the U.S. isn't writing 50 billion dollar checks anymore.

And when Putin refuses to give an inch? Ukraine should agree to what? Just line up for their Russian passports?

Oh it's fabulous when it hits those that will happily survive, themselves, they believe, get slammed on their stocks, 401's, oh alllllllllll kinds of things going to be happenin'.

Oof I don't even think Putin will give the Ukrainians passports- I'm afraid a genocide will happen if his war succeeds.

Compare the things Putin and Trump have said and see if they sound familiar: MOO

Putin:

Vladimir Putin reportedly claimed that “Ukraine is not even a state! What is Ukraine? A part of its territory is [in] Eastern Europe, but a[nother] part, a considerable one, was a gift from us!

Trump:

President Donald Trump has repeatedly said Canada should be the 51st U.S. state as he proposes to erase the 5,525-mile-long border that separates the two countries.

NO doubt about that, it has happened from the first day of invasion. Target was civilians, you know, snipered per p, pick them off, do your best, kill, rape anyone you can. Execute taken Ukrainian soldiers, (documented).

Maybe Canada should build a wall ;)

Trump does seem to be turning a blind eye to the war crimes doesn't he? JMO

And how expansive do you wish this war to become?

Means nothing to him, he has said in many ways. The are not crimes to him, p is his puppeteer and he loves it and has NO idea that is what he is.

Does anyone really care about the opinion of a cousin of our Vice President? Not sure how or why that is news. Reminds me of the Megan Markle family battles in the press.
He seems to have a good heart and care about others.

That cousin happens to be fighting on Ukraine's frontlines. I think a lot of people will care about what Nate Vance has to say.

Musk calls Sen. Kelly a 'traitor' over trip to Ukraine, Kelly hits back.
Elon Musk, the billionaire businessman and head of the Department of Government Efficiency, called Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly a "traitor" in a post on X after Kelly posted that he had visited Ukraine over the weekend.

So, by simple logic, if Kelly is a traitor for visiting Ukraine, that means that the US now considers Russia and ally.

I'm glad they've dropped the political theater and stopped pretending they're not in bed with Russia and are just being upfront about it. Better we know who we're dealing with.

A traitor to Russia. Clearly spelled out. Said it so clearly, you.

Yes, as in we are Russia. Wonder how that will play out and sure hope it goes very, very loud across America and it's allies.

I love Kelly's reply:
"Traitor? Elon, if you don't understand that defending freedom is a basic tenet of what makes America great and keeps us safe, maybe you should leave it to those of us who do," wrote Kelly.

It's important, as Trump and Musk try to rewrite history in favour of Russia, to keep reminding people that this is about one country invading another and stealing land while committing war crimes. This is about the freedom to exist.

They can gaslight us all they want ala 1984 doublespeak, but anyone with half a brain and an internet connection isn't stupid enough to fall for it.
