S.A. Concerned Defense will Sell Pics of Caylee's Remains

  • #501
with the last doc dump of crime scene photos SA already expressed concern over leakage....

also---aren't these "experts" pro bono????? being that shouldn't they worry about their own transprotaton....(I know I live in a different world that when people say they are working pro bono...I consider everythingis up to them)--but do agree that postering at the crime scene.....:furious:
Yea if they were truely pro bono they pay their own expense:) Actually IMO Baez doesnt make much sense. They dont need photo's to do there report on the remains. Its smoke and mirrors:)IMO And yes at the last hearing SA differntly stated concern about that. As it should be IMO:)

As someone mentioned earlier, they need to poke holes in the ME's findings. Much of Casey's defense (since there is so little else for the defense to work with) is going to be attempting to discredit everyone who worked on the case. Without knowing what the ME's findings are, they can't dispute them. And you never know, maybe they'll find something the ME overlooked. I doubt it, but they have the right to try.

Lol! I was the one who posted that earlier. I just couldn't see any other reason but hoped you might have thought of one.:)

I guess that means we agree :)

You're absolutely right, Chilly. They not only need to poke holes in the prosecution's case, they have the responsibility and obligation to do so. That is how the system works - that is why we're all entitled to counsel and have the right to confront witnesses.

So, if the defense is insisting on waiting on the ME's info instead of proceeding with their own examination, aren't the defense the ones delaying the burial? Why didn't the A's attorny meet with the defense to iron this out?

Well the A's attorney Conway had a meeting over the pics for some reason. Of course as others have pointed out the "I" word was probably brought up. So if there is no mention of the A's why was Conway there?

It could be something quite as simple as the A's attorney wanting to know (on behalf of his clients) how far JB had got (on behalf of his client) with making arrangements for the examination of the remains, and the associated evidence from the defence (when it is released). The A's have an interest in finding out when they can arrange Caylee's funeral. Just because 2 attorneys are communicating, it doesn't automatically mean that something underhand is going on!

I'm confused! I thought the A's attorny met with the SA?

Something else I don't understand, beside the Law. There is no Law that truly protects the victim. IMO, the only Victim is Caylee and Nobody should have any right to her, she was murdered. This is not a natural causes of "Death". It seems people are forgetting this saga that has been going on for over 6 months. All the lies, the poor searchers out risking there life looking for Caylee and the family sitting back protecting Casey...I do not feel sorry for them, I can't. How can I when they lied to? This case would of been solved the first night Caylee didn't come home. I assume after the fight June 15th Casey left mad and told Cindy a thing or two. I know as a grandmother who now has custody of my granddaughter that if you fear for your grandchild's safety you can go to the court house yourself and file a petition for custody. And in my state grandparents have no rights! But, the birth-mother was doing the same thing Casey was and I put a stop to it ASAP! I didn't wait. Sorry, had to vent because I don't feel that Caylee's pictures, video, x-rays of her remains should be sold, made public or exploited. Any "Victim" for that matter.

You are absolutely correct; there are VERY FEW laws protecting victims and survivors. It's sad.

The prosecution was given 2 weeks to turn their autopsy reports over to the defense. I can't imagine what prevented them from filing this motion immediately rather than waiting until the 2 weeks was up.

IMO ALL they care about is the MONEY they are making off little Caylee. They don't care how they look to anybody as long as they have the $$$$$$$$$$$$$
IMO, some disorder runs in this whole family.
sometimes i even wonder if this whole horrible event was planned because i find it difficult to wrap by mind around this entire circus. :(
again, imo

Don't ask me where now ... but I remember hearing, in the very beginning of this whole tragedy, that this WAS planned, and that we'd be surprised to hear WHO was involved in the planning.

Gosh, I wish I remember where I read this.

Did you guys catch the part where BC states he is not representing Dominic Casey and when asked if he was going to represent D.Casey he said no, that D.Casey works for the Anthony's and doesn't need a lawyer. Hmm... the meeting today was about the SA motion to keep all the videos, x rays, and Cd's of Caylee's remains private. He made it sound like the Anthony's have not even seen the remains and that they don't want the pictures made public either.

Thanks, was looking for it. I only get 2 pages though, there seems to be more. Anyhow, State is just saying that under FL law the photos must remain in the State, and Baez may have experts review under his supervision. No copies to be made or sent anywhere. (As they are the only one, important for Court, and no selling should be done, Motion does say that State is not saying Baez would sell any...) So, this is just matter of fact filing, protecting rights (victim), chain of custody, and so on....

You're welcome and yes, "this is just matter of fact filing, protecting rights (victim), chain of custody, and so on" (well stated). :)

When did the 2 wks expire?

Excellent point! (And love the way you said it!)

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The lawyer for the Anthony family had a meeting Wednesday with prosecutors in downtown Orlando at the State Attorney's Office. George and Cindy Anthony's attorney, Brad Conway, met with prosecutors and investigators for about an hour Wednesday morning.

The article goes on to say it was about the pics...etc.

Why hasn't JB had his experts do the "second" autopsy? Does he expect to send Caylees remains via UPS?

This thread went off topic in the first post, when the A's were brought into it. They are not part of this motion.

If you think so, the appropriate place to raise it is with the mods.
