Geller has blonde hair, is 5-foot-5 and 115 pounds, and was last seen leaving the Ranger Bar & Liquor Store on Friday, Feb. 9. Close friend Hayley Felton said in a Monday evening post on the "Missing people of Wyoming" Facebook page that she received a text from Geller Saturday morning stating she had made it home safe. Her car was found the next day when her phone was pinged near Vedauwoo, though Felton added in her post that calls go straight to her Geller's voicemail.

Possibly she was not the one who sent that text?

Hoping for good news soon about Sabrina. Is the Vedauwoo area regarded as dangerous for hiking, etc.?
Does anyone know if Sabrina is familiar with that area?
It's an amazing and beautiful area, as well as bit daunting, IMO. Although it looks like a wonderful place to hike and have some "just me" time, I would almost be afraid to be out there by myself. (I'm a bit of a wimp, d'oh.) I'm sure many experienced hikers and the like know it well and probably enjoy being alone there at times.
Hoping she is okay, unharmed and on her way home.

I have only been there a few times, but I remember much of the park being accessible to families, visitors, novice hikers. I think there are parts of the park that are for more experienced hikers / climbers.

It's in a very "open" area - not a lot of trees around - and a lot of the park is visible from the highway / right alongside the highway. Hoping for good news as well - it sounds like there's snow on the ground in Laramie currently, per the police department message that mentions snow mobiles. Laramie can become an inhospitable location during the winter due to wind and low temps.

Or she was embarassed she got lost and didnt want to worry anyone? just an idea
Vedauwoo is just outside of Laramie on the main highway (can't remember what it's called), in the direction of Cheyenne, WY and Denver, CO. The liquor store she was last seen at is in that direction, but I'd be curious to know where her residence is in Laramie. Vedauwoo is out of the way enough that her car being found at the entrance is unusual, especially considering the text she sent to a friend saying she got home safely.

Unfortunately, Sabrina has been found deceased per a press release from Albany county sheriff's office. No foul play suspected at this time. May she rest in peace.

Laramie has WICKED winter weather. I've been caught driving through there on the interstate in a long-ago early November; the interstate closed because of a blizzard.

Many thanks from the Piedmont area of NC.

According to an update from the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, Sabrina Geller’s cause of death is under investigation, but no foul play is suspected.

“Our condolences go out to the family, friends, and community that Sabrina Geller belonged to,” the sheriff’s office said in a social media post on Tuesday evening. “We ask that the public respect the privacy of family and friends at this time.”
