The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office said a missing persons case has turned into a kidnapping investigation.

Sadie Tolley went missing in the Emma community on Jan. 8. She was not seen until officials said Tolley went to the Waynesville Police Department on Thursday and provided information that led to the arrest of Winston Eccleston.

Eccleston is charged with first-degree kidnapping. He was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Center.

I was wondering if she was missing again, but no, she was missing for almost six months and then showed up at the police station, resulting in the arrest of her kidnapper.
