San Diego panda baby gets her name

SAN DIEGO, California (AP) -- The San Diego Zoo's panda cub finally has a name: Zhen Zhen, or Precious. (pronounced "Jun Jun", like "fun fun").


Meet Zhen Zhen: San Diego Zoo's panda cub born in August gets 'Precious' name.

Following Chinese tradition, the zoo waited until the cub, which was born August 3, was 100 days old before giving her a name Monday.

Just have to share.....tho lil Zhen Zhen has not yet made her big public debut, she has been spotted on www.sandiegozoo.org panda cam outside with her mommy Bai Yun. Lil sissy is brave, attempting to climb branches and scouting out the garden area while her mom is busy eating her bamboo breakfast. Zhen is just soooooo adorable, what can I say? A true pandaholic, I!
