Jesse apparently has a large collection of Nazi Memorabilia
and a surfboard with a picture of Hitler on it in his office

there have been various rumors of him being racist, anti Jewish, anti gay etc...just google it

Given the fact that Sandra's mother was German, Sandra herself spent much of her childhood in Germany,
I would have thought she would be more sensitive or politically correct about having a hubby who collects nazi crap

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandra_Bullock

Sandra Annette Bullock was born in Arlington, Virginia, the daughter of Helga D. Meyer (1942–2000), a German opera singer and voice teacher, and John W. Bullock (born 1925), a voice coach and executive from Alabama.[4][5] Bullock's maternal grandfather was a rocket scientist from Nuremberg, Germany.[6] Bullock lived in Nuremberg until age twelve, where she sang in the opera's children's choir at the Staatstheater Nürnberg.[7] She frequently traveled with her mother on her opera tours, and lived in Germany and other parts of Europe for much of her childhood. She is fluent in German.

who is Sondra?

I don't think Sandra would have married someone she did not trust completely.

You are right I did misspell her name.
I think she knew his history, and she also knew Dogs do not change their spots.
Was it wishful thinking "HE will change for me"??? that I do not know.
But she knew FAR, FAR more then she leads us to believe.

She is just a person like the rest of the women in the world just because she is very talented
does not t all mean that SHE would never marry an idiot.

http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity...t-home-once-shared-by-sandra-and-jesse-197031 Ok I just have to say some of theses comments after the story trouble me. How can you blame Sandra :banghead: I dont care if she knew what the man was like. Love is blind and she probably believed her love could change him. Why is it some blame the women but if it were reversed and she did it while on a movie shoot she would be a sl*t. Sorry for the rant but it hit a nerve:crazy:

If you marry a Nazi and you sell him as a saint...there is something wrong with that picture.
Just because she has talent does not mean I want to pretend she had no cloue what she married.

As far as his affairs go, I would think she had no clue. Conisdering the amount of movies she puts out, she was probably gone a lot, leaving him free to roam. Meaning, when they were together he was probably the model husband. I do think she knew about the sexual harrasment settlement, how could a spouse not know that (which was something he could probably tell a few lies on and explain away, like the girl was out for money, etc) or if he was or was not a white supremacist.

And before she married him she also new about his Nazi passion. His Whitey interests:
he had paraphernalia all over and it is all over the Internet.
She is talented, and far from stupid.
OH!!!!! She knew much more then we can imagine. Maybe not much about his strippers
but she knew about Mr. Whitey.

Having Nazi memorabilia does not make one a Nazi. People collect all kind of stuff. I personally don't get why she married him-they seem so mismatched, and it sure looks that if she trusted him her trust was misplaced. But we don't know what really went on-maybe he convinced her that he was going to change for her and she bought it. It's easy to believe something if you want to believe it, and maybe she was "blind sided."

I disagree. She goes on location to shoot her movies, so it would be easier to keep her in the dark than if she were at home every day.

She knew of his former wives, and she knows how to get on the Internet too.
Case and point: she may not need to go to far to know what he really is.

THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLAME AND CLARIFYING THE BS.
Sandra knew far, far more then she pretended to know; and he is far less then what
she was selling to the public about Mr. Nazi Mr. Whitey, or Mr striper monger.
There is no blame, just clarifying the BS.

I feel sorry for Sandra. I hope she sets a new trend and dumps his sorry butt. It is so disappointing when men act like over the top scoundrels and the women stick with them. Hilary, Elan etc. It sets such a poor example for young women. There are plenty-o-fish in the sea and I for one think it's best to move on and find a more true mate. That's just me though. Sandra must be reeling, coming down from an Oscar high to the lowest of the lows. Poor girl!

Maybe she is just embraced that her pristine image is not so pristine anymore.

I find those who create prestine images to have too many skelatons.

I don't see Jesse as a bad father, only a bad husband. I see no legal reason to consider taking custody away from him. He's not involved in drugs, doesn't abuse the child - actually seems to love and care for her. Maybe he's not a role model re: women, but he is a successful businessman.

What they learn at home is what they go out and do themselves; if not worse.
Usually they get worse. Learning that dad loves hookers may teach them to be one.
IT HAS in many many cases.

  • #331
She was shooting her movies on location and most likely had no clue as to what he was up to.
Sometimes woman loves a "bad boy," she thinks she can change him. I fail to see any need to blame her for this.

While I agree that it's despicable that women are taking celebs/politicians to the cleaners, it's pretty obvious that the men are just plain stupid.

The men can't figure out that these women are after $ and fame? I'm guess they don't care and think they can get away with anything. Let's not blame the women when the men should be taking responsibility for themselves, their families, and their children instead of running around.

I always blame both. It is even in the 10 commandments it is that serious, and I am not religious.
There is no way I would go with a married man, would not want to be the cause of anything, nor get the short end of the stick either.
I think it is bad behaviour and both should be blamed.

It is sad to equate collecting nazi crap with other forms of collecting..this is not beanie babies we are talking about

Ironically in Germany, where I think Sandra has duel citizenship, the swastika and other nazi junk is illegal...that country has spent decades trying to clean up it's image, confront and atone for it's past sins and some right thinking Germans have passed laws that try to assure such a horror won't happen again

http://www.spiegel.de/international/0,1518,337722,00.html

In Germany, a country where school children are confronted with the lessons of World War II on a regular basis and go on field trips to concentration camps, the swastika is already banned. The use of the Nazi greeting "Heil Hitler" is also against the law as is owning Adolf Hitler's ranting anti-Semitic book, "Mein Kampf."

I am having to lean a bit toward songlines post here and agree with her now that I think this over after a couple of days and it has set in. Sandra knew about his some of the pigs past so how much did she really know about what was going on in his life? I, in no way blame her at all. But, I think there is probably more to the private side of this story then the public will find out. I am sure things have not been good between them for quite sometime and she had to know a bit about what was coming. I don't think she was in the dark.

I say get rid of the pig quickly and move on. She is one beautiful woman, inside and out and doesn't need this to go on everyday. He is pure dirt and this story gets worse everytime someone tells more of it.

Goz
Happy Easter All
Hi Goz :)
In some interview long ago JJ said he had to tell Sandra everything before they got married, even if it was painful
or uncomfortable.
I think he may have left a few things out but she sure knew enough...5 years married??? and we are in the age of
information with lots of free info on the Internet, an ex wife in jail, and a time where for $125.00 you can get an
extensive background check on anyone. PLEASE.....
The best I am going to give her is that she is embraced right now, not enlightened. I will not buy that she did not know.
I will ONLY buy that she thought he may change his womanizing ways for her, the rest of it is not news.

Again it is not blame it is just clearing up the BS.
He is who he is not who she was selling - that is for sure.
She knew far more then she pretended not to know.
You can be on location plenty but you do have a laptop wherever you go.
Just because she is talented and charming does not make her a special person
Obviously she is good at keeping stuff closeted.

I know many people will go into denial about her, because she is "miss congeniality"
But I will not go into denial about her at all.

Again, people collect all kind of stuff.
Some people collect serial killer memorabilia-it doesn't make them serial killers.
And I am not sure making stuff illegal is the way to go.

What she knew or didnt know has nothing to do with the action of what Jesse did or does . No one made him do it he chose to. I dont find it hard to believe that a women who loved a man would only see the good in them even if they heard about the bad. Happens everyday and Sandra is just a human as anyone else.

blindsided for 5 years? :no:1-2 years it can happen.
The jerk is a follower of the Nazi mindset, Mr. Whitey even registered his business by a name
that would depict his passion, for the Nazi
and his memorabilia is his trophy, You can disbelief that if you want.
some things are not easy to believe, I got his number quick.
Yet in some cases I try to see the good in the people first.

Selling a Nazi as a sweet teddy bear is offensive to me.
Like LogicalMind told us it is not even legal in Germany.
it is that offensive.
It is not as if Sandra covered up that he drank too much.

YAP she is very talented, but I lost total interest in her.
I do believe that since many producers and directors are Jewish
it will effect her in the future.
I actually hope so. Because I do not like to be sold BS about anyone.
Time will tell.
